The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK) was established in June 2000 as a non-profit organization for the fast-growing financial services industry. We are the sole licensing body in Hong Kong authorized by Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd to grant the much coveted and internationally-recognized CFP® certification and AFP® certification to qualified financial planning professionals in Hong Kong and Macau.

Project Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Coordination: Assist the Head of Policies and Standards in planning, coordinating, and managing projects across various functions and working teams.

  • Initiative Development: Proactively identify opportunities for new programs, campaigns, and process improvements; develop and assist the implementation of these initiatives to enhance organizational growth and operational efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure project objectives are clearly communicated and successfully met.

  • Marketing & Communications Support: Contribute to the creation of high-quality promotional materials, including digital graphics and social media content, to strengthen brand outreach and participant engagement.

  • Member & Client Services: Deliver exceptional customer service, address inquiries professionally, and cultivate positive relationships with members and event participants.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A university degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in project coordination or a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to support complex projects across multiple teams, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving strategic objectives.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving abilities and the initiative to drive projects independently from ideation to completion.

  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and a demonstrated aptitude for quickly mastering new digital platforms.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and a keen interest in emerging technologies that impact project management and communications.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven capacity for multitasking and a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
