Manager (Clearing Operations)
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising and monitoring all daily operations performed in the primary and secondary clearing centres to ensure compliance with the established control procedures and requirements
Assist supervisor in prompt escalation and resolution of any production problems or irregularities encountered during the course of operations and prepare incident reports as appropriate, follow up on the remediation action and improvement plan
Assist member banks in solving daily operational issues relating to bulk clearing services, Faster Payment System (FPS) and maintain a highly effective communication with member banks
Oversee and manage the overall new service/product implementation cycle and ensure the service/product is properly launched with high performance
Manage the progress of all project activities involved and ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with the agreed requirements, standards and timeline
Ensure departmental procedural manuals are updated and complied with the Clearing House Rules and Clearing Operating Procedures
Review and ensure all contingency procedures and resources in relation to clearing operations are in place
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors
Requirements:
University education preferably majoring in business studies, finance and banking or related disciplines
Over 10 years of experience in payment and cheque processing, item processing and clearing operations, preferably with 4 years of managerial experience
Knowledge of clearing and payment systems will be an advantage
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is preferable
Good interpersonal and supervisory skills; independent and able to work under pressure
Willing to perform shift duties as required
Engineer (Quality Assurance)
Major Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing test plan, test cases, and other relevant documents for conducting user acceptance tests, regression tests, and simulation tests
Execute and follow up the test cases, document the test results and maintain the problem logs
Communicate, co-ordinate and liaise with users, IT development and other teams
Prepare and setup up testing environments
Promote quality assurance standards and best practices to the team
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
University / Tertiary education, preferably in Computer Science or related disciplines with 1-2 years of quality assurance experience would be an advantage
Knowledge in quality assurance process is preferred
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Knowledge of SWIFT messages, XML and experience in automated testing tools is added advantage

Assistant Officer (Clearing Operations)
Major Responsibilities:
Perform clearing operations duties in relation to clearing and settlement of paper cheques, e-Cheques, bill payments and presentments and electronic clearing items
Assist in monitoring and performing the clearing and settlement processes
Attend to service hotlines in handling enquiries from member banks on the clearing and settlement services
Arrange onboarding activities for member banks on subscription or withdrawal of clearing services
Assist in administrative and documentation work including preparation of working instructions and procedures
Provide clerical support to the clearing and settlement services including data input
Provide service support to member banks at clearing counter to collect/dispatch physical clearing items
Perform other duties or projects as assigned
Requirements:
HKCEE/HKDSE or above, tertiary education is an advantage
1 – 2 years working experience, preferably in banking or finance industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to communicate in written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Required to work at alternative sites and perform evening shift duty according to roster
