Management Executive
Major Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality of secretariat services for the senior executive office, the HKICL Board and its Sub-Committees
Draft, review and coordinate different types of business documents, including meeting agendas, papers, minutes, reports, proposals, presentations and letters, etc.
Follow up on matters raised at meetings to ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken
Manage protocols between the Board and the senior executive office
Coordinate committee work and liaising with both internal and external parties in a professional manner
Coordinate with departmental secretariat regarding secretarial issues
Maintain an organized and effective document management system for confidential files and records
Requirements:
University education in business administration, corporate governance, communications or related disciplines
At least 7 years’ working experience in committee work, preferably in the banking, finance, public or government sector
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent writing skills in both English and Chinese
Good command of spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
Capable of dealing with internal and external business executives and officials
Responsible, independent, well-organized and self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Management Executive
Assistant Officer (Clearing Operations)
Major Responsibilities:
Perform clearing operations duties in relation to clearing and settlement of paper cheques, e-Cheques, bill payments and presentments and electronic clearing items
Assist in monitoring and performing the clearing and settlement processes
Attend to service hotlines in handling enquiries from member banks on the clearing and settlement services
Arrange onboarding activities for member banks on subscription or withdrawal of clearing services
Assist in administrative and documentation work including preparation of working instructions and procedures
Provide clerical support to the clearing and settlement services including data input
Provide service support to member banks at clearing counter to collect/dispatch physical clearing items
Perform other duties or projects as assigned
Requirements:
HKCEE/HKDSE or above, tertiary education is an advantage
1 – 2 years working experience, preferably in banking or finance industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to communicate in written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Required to work at alternative sites and perform evening shift duty according to roster
Manager (Finance)
Major Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, management accounting reports, operating budget, statutory reports, business and financial analyses etc.
Perform analyses on the company’s operating performance against budget estimates
Review financial analyses to be provided to external auditors in the annual financial audit and assist the external auditors in the operations audit
Review cash positions and assist in liquidity management of the company
Manage the whole set of general ledger and accounts payable and receivable functions
Oversee the enhancement of the computerized systems for accounting and management data and manage user acceptance tests of new projects to ensure proper changes to the billing and accounting systems
Initiate improvement of relevant accounting processes
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors
Requirements:
University degree in accounting with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualification
Over 8 years’ accounting experience preferably in financial institutions or sizable organizations
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Good knowledge of computerized accounting systems and PC applications
Strong logical thinking, sound analytical skills and able to present ideas in an organized manner
Good supervisory skill, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Deputy Manager (Finance)
