Clerical Assistant in Simon K. Y. The successful candidate must possess five passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), or at least Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKDSEE including English Language. Preference will be given to applicants with 1-2 years of relevant work experience. The position requires excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), along with strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Essential qualities include strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.

The appointee will be responsible for providing comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the office. Primary duties include handling inquiries via emails and phone calls, drafting official notices and correspondence, and assisting the Students' Association with logistics preparation for events and activities. The position also involves managing the ordering and inventory of hall consumables, maintaining fixed asset inventory record and assisting with student move-in/move-out procedures. Additional responsibilities include preparing petty cash reports, issuing receipts, handling maintenance and housekeeping matters, and performing other assigned duties as required. Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector.  Non-degree holders with substantial relevant working experiences will also be considered. They must be a good team player; self-motivated with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; attentive to details; able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines and able to prioritise multi-tasks efficiently. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and IT proficiency skills including MS Word and MS Excel.  Knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage but not a must. Those with less experience and/or lower qualification may be appointed as Clerk II.

The appointees will provide administrative and clerical support to the Faculty Office, mainly in the area of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. They will be responsible for handling admissions, programme administration, course enrollment, examinations and student affairs, data management, coordinating events and activities organized by the Faculty Office.  They will also provide general administrative support to the Faculty office, including finance and human resources matters and perform any other duties as assigned. Accounting Officer/Accounting Executive

The Role

The appointee will work in the Treasury & Investment Operations Team with the following responsibilities:

  • Perform daily treasury operations and provide treasury support to other units of the business;

  • Develop long-term relationships with financial institutions and asset management firms;

  • Prepare/review treasury and investment related reconciliation and accounting duties;

  • Responsible for KYC/AML, tax and compliance, onboarding matters;

  • Prepare monthly investment performance analysis and reports for management review;

  • Assist in the MTN program set-up, including but not limited to appointing external vendors, due diligence process, documentation, roadshow, investor Q&A as well as settlement procedure;

  • Facilitate the loan drawdown and bond issuance process and manage subsequent treasury activities, such as bank transfer, loan rollover, interest settlement; and

  • Support ad-hoc projects as and when required.

 Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines;

  • Experience in treasury or investment operations;

  • Strong communication and effective stakeholder management skills;

  • Good knowledge of financial instruments, cash management techniques, financing & debt instruments, and investment strategies; and

  • Team-oriented, positive, professional, strong work ethic and excellent multi-tasking skills.
