The Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) is a statutory body established under the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap 626) and is tasked to regulate and promote the development of the property management industry. Data Entry Clerk (Temporary) (Ref. No.: PMSA-PTDEC-02/24)

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager (Project), the appointee will be required to;

  • Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database;

  • Review data for deficiencies or errors and make any necessary changes to records;

  • Assist with special projects that require large amount of data entry;

  • Provide occasional administrative support and;

  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • HKCEE / HKDSE or above in any discipline;

  • Proficient in Excel (eg Vlookup/ Pivot Table) and Chinese Word Processing;

  • Well organised, detail-minded, hardworking and highly responsible.

Administrative Assistant (Ref. No.: PMSA-AA-05/24)

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager (Administration and Resources Management), the appointee will be required to:

  • Answer enquiries, take messages and perform reception counter services;

  • Handle telephone calls, mailing and courier service arrangement, and meeting rooms booking;

  • Perform offsite duties such as mailing, documents/ parcel delivery and delivery and cheque bank-in etc., when necessary;

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the PMSA Executive Office, including but not limited to procure and maintain office supplies and equipment; assist in facilities management, and maintain central filing system, etc.;

  • Assist in Human Resources functions/activities, including recruitment, maintaining personnel records and updating HR databases, etc;

  • Provide assistance in logistics support for Authority’s meetings, events and activities; and

  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or above, preferably in Business and Administration;

  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualification work experience in administration / human resources/ customer service or guest reception in sizable companies/ organization;

  • Experience in handling both telephone enquiries and performing reception duties are compulsory;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;

  • A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and problem solving skills;

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. (Cantonese as well as basic Putonghua)

Officer (Complaints and Enforcement)
(Ref. No.: PMSA-OCE-44/23)

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager (Complaints and Enforcement), the appointee will be required to: 

  • handle enquiries, complaints and conduct enforcement inspections properly and timely;

  • collect and analyses evidence for disciplinary cases in accordance with the PMSO and other relevant ordinances;

  • refer cases to other law enforcement agencies when necessary;

  • assist in preparing codes of conduct and relevant best practice guides for the property management industry;

  • prepare various reports, such as case report, statistic report, etc.;

  • prepare for and attend disciplinary hearings and court as witness; and

  • undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or above in any disciplines;

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably attained Level 4 or above in HKDSE, or Grade “C” or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in HKCEE, or equivalent);

  • Good report writing skills;

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience;

  • Experience in handling complaints and customer service will be an advantage;

  • Experience in governmental departments/ statutory bodies/ authorities and/or administration department in a large scale company will be an advantage;

  • Good commend in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;

  • A team player with a strong sense of responsibility; and

  • Independent and able to work under pressure and tight time schedule.

Terms of Appointment

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A 3-year contract will be offered to the successful candidate. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
