The Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) is the statutory body established under the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap 626)(PMSO) and is tasked to regulate and promote the development of the property management (PM) industry. Applications are invited for the following position:

Officer (Licensing) (Temporary) (Ref. No.: PMSA-O(Lic)-02/26)

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager (Licensing) or Senior Officer (Licensing), the appointee will be required to:

  • Assist in licence applications vetting process;

  • Maintain and update relevant data in the licensing system ;

  • Compile and analyse relevant reports;

  • Handle cases concerning non-compliance issues on licensing criteria ;

  • Handle telephone and face-to-face licensing non-compliance enquiries in a good manner; and

  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or above in any disciplines;

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience;

  • Experience in license applications operations will be an advantage;

  • Preferable with experience in public sectors, authorities or relevant industries;

  • Proficient in various MS applications and Chinese Word Processing;

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel functionalities and formula usage is preferred;

  • Well organised, detail minded, with common sense and high sense of responsibility;

  • Strong commitment to tight deadlines;

  • Immediately available is preferable.

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is offered on a temporary contract. For the successful candidate, future employment may be considered based on performance and organisational needs.

Administrative Assistant (Temporary) (Ref. No.: PMSA-AA(Lic)-03/26)

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager (Licensing), the appointee will be required to:

  • Maintain accuracy of the licence application data and property information, including data entry, documents scanning, uploading and filing;

  • Liaise and follow up with respective applicants/licensees on licence applications or information submissions;/p>

  • Maintain licence application and information submission filing system;

  • Provide clerical support to the Licensing Division;

  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or above in any disciplines;

  • A minimum of 1 year relevant experience;

  • Relevant work experience and knowledge in licence applications operations and property management are preferable;

  • Proficient in various MS applications and Chinese Word Processing;

  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel functions and formulas is preferred;

  • Detail minded, with common sense and high sense of responsibility;

  • Independent and able to work under pressure; and

  • Immediately available is preferable.

General Manager (Operation & Service) (Ref. No.: PMSA-GM(O&S)-04/26)

Responsibilities
Report to the Chief Executive Officer of the PMSA; the appointee will assist in leading the PMSA staff to execute the statutory duties of the PMSA and implement its policy objectives. The main duties include:

  • Providing overall administrative and operational support for the PMSA

  • Overseeing the daily operation of the Administration Division (responsible for the PMSA Secretariat, human resources, finance and administration functions), Corporate Services Division (responsible for corporate communications and information technology functions), and the Professional Development Division;

  • Managing and controlling expenditures in accordance with the budget;

  • Directing corporate communications, including devising and implementing promotional and publicity programmes;

  • Providing strategic leadership for IT projects to support operation;

  • Implementing the Continuous Professional Development Scheme, which requires mandatory participation for the property management industry;

  • Enhancing collaboration with stakeholders and Government departments to support the PMSA in delivering its statutory functions.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or above, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience, including at least 8 years at management level;

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills;

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills;

  • Demonstrated ability in multi-tasking and organisational management;

  • A high level of integrity and commitment to professional standards;

  • Good command of Cantonese and English, with proficiency in written Chinese and English.

A three-year contract will be offered. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
