Examinations Administration Assistant (Ref: SE/07/331)

Duties: The appointee will be responsible for handling phone and written enquiries/complaints in the Public Examinations Information Centre (PEIC). The post holder is also required to provide clerical and administrative support to the team, perform user acceptance test (UAT) for online application systems, assist in the investigation and follow-up of examination irregularities and special cases, and assist in maintaining and updating the knowledge base and related reference materials. He/she will be required to work outside normal office hours during examination seasons and when required, to support divisional operations.
Requirements:
(a) Higher Diploma/ Associate Degree or above in any discipline;
(b) At least 2 years’ working experience in general administration or clerical support;
(c) Working experience in examination administration and customer service is an added advantage;
(d) Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing;
(e) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua is preferred; and
(f) Meticulous and good customer service, interpersonal and communication skills..
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.

Assistant Officer – Examinations Administration (Ref: IP/07/330)

Duties: The appointee will be responsible for handling various administrative duties covering pre-during-post examination operations, providing support in examination facilities, equipment, and related logistic operations; communicating and coordinating with internal and external parties on the examination operations with the objective of ensuring pre-during-post examination activities are properly executed; improving the operations and services of the Division, and meeting the financial objectives within the given resources, timeline, relevant policies and guidelines of the Division and HKEAA.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline;
(b) At least 3 years of administrative or operationally focused position or in the field of education or public sectors;
(c) Good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
(d) Proficiency in computer applications (including MS Office Suite and Chinese word processing);
(e) Experienced in system UAT, customer service, complaint handling, and daily accounting operations preferred;
(f) Highly meticulous and able to work under pressure and irregular hours (including public holidays); and
(g) Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese preferably including Putonghua.

Public Affairs and Communications Assistant (Ref: PA/07/329)

Duties: The appointee will provide professional and logistical support to the Public Affairs and Communications Unit. He/She will assist in the planning and execution of corporate communications, media and stakeholder engagement initiatives, including open days, forums, press conferences, exhibitions, outreach programmes and corporate ceremonies with the objective of maintaining a positive image of the Authority. He/She will be responsible for coordinating the registration of events, supporting venue setup, providing on-site support to guests during events, coordinating production of event souvenirs and exhibition panels, and maintaining stakeholder contact databases and mailing lists. The appointee will also support content management across internal/external communication channels, production of publications and promotional materials, in addition to general administrative duties of the Unit.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality or related discipline;
(b) At least 2-year working experience in advertising, marketing, public relations or customer relationship management;
(c) Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
(d) Mature and independent with good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(e) Well-organised, self-motivated, meticulous and able to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Candidates with less work experience or fewer academic qualifications, including fresh graduates and sub-degree holders, may also be considered.

Senior Officer – Information Technology(IT Application) (Ref: IT/06/325)
Date for Application Review: 7 August 2026
Duties: The appointee will serve as the technical lead for system architecture assessment, application security, system development and application modernization across the public examination systems. The role will also lead, drive and hands-on implementation Proof of Concept (POC) exercises on system modernization, new initiatives, new architectural frameworks and AI services enablement.
The appointee is required to deliver the following key responsibilities:
(a) Direct project strategy and provide technical guidance to engineering teams as the lead developer, maintaining oversight of architectural frameworks and security compliance;
(b) Conduct architecture assessments, perform gap analysis to identify modernization opportunities and strategic roadmaps;
(c) Lead and implement POC exercises within the project scope and new initiatives to demonstrate technical feasibility using the latest AI, emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks;
(d) Coordinate and consolidate application security activities across systems and oversee the implementation of vulnerability remediation and code changes to resolve identified security risks and proactively prevent potential vulnerabilities;
(e) Develop and enforce secure coding standards, establishing quality gates for application development throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
(f) Integrate AI initiatives into in-house web and mobile development projects; and
(g) Translate use cases into scalable solutions and drive the development of innovative strategies to advance the Authority's digital operations.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines;
(b) At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in IT solution architecture and design, system development and release. Experience with large-scale application systems is an advantage;
(c) Solid practical experience in web-based application implementation, mobile application development and application architecture design principles;
(d) A strong full-stack development background with hands-on experience in related technologies and frameworks (e.g. Java Spring Boot, React, Node.js, Flutter or Kotlin), alongside solid cloud platform experience (e.g., Alibaba Cloud or GCP);
(e) Strong technical know-how and hands-on experience in one or multiple domains:
• Code quality tools and integration (e.g. SonarQube)
• Application security tools and vulnerability remediation
• AI/ML technologies and agentic tools
• Modern system design patterns (e.g. API gateway, microservices)
(f) Self-motivated and innovative, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and
(g) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
