The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-for-profit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. Officer – Information Technology(Application Services) (Ref: IT/03/228)

Duties: The appointee will be responsible for assisting IT manager in managing the delivery of core IT application services and digital transformation projects. Duties include technical solution design, system development and implementation, application support and system maintenance etc.

Requirements:

(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines;

(b) At least 5 years’ post-qualification IT experience in large-scale application system development and vendor management;

(c) Experience in Web Application development with JAVA EE framework, SPRING and Oracle SQL;

(d) Knowledge in AI for data analytics, Kubernetes, Mobile Application Development (e.g. iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, etc) and Cloud technology would be an advantage;

(f) Self-motivated, innovative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, team player with good communication skills; and

(g) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Candidates with less working experience may be considered.

Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.

Senior Officer – Information Technology (Cyber Security) (Ref: IT/06/245)
(Contract period up to 31 August 2026)

Date for Application Review: 8 July 2025

Duties: The incumbent will report to team manager and assist in delivering the cybersecurity project and operating the security solutions system. He/She ensures a quality delivery of IT security service by following the IT security policy and procedure, adopting industrial best practices, and complying with the selected standards and regulatory bodies, including:

(a) Develop, maintain and enforce Information Security Policy, Standard and Guideline;

(b) Perform risk assessment and security compliance check on infrastructure in the Authority;

(c) Lead the team in the implementation of security projects, and support security related platforms;

(d) Develop and implement the security controls;

(e) Maintain systems’ security compliance and continuous security monitoring; and

(f) Drive systems’ security enhancement programme.

Requirements:

(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields;

(b) At least 6 years of working experience with minimum 4 years in information security;

(c) Good knowledge and understanding of Information Security framework, standards, and regulations;

(d) Familiar with security technology in the market and with solid experience in implementing the related security controls is preferred;

(e) Holder of professional certificates in one or more of CISSP, CISA, CISM is a must;

(f) Working with 'can-do' attitude, detail-oriented, well organized and presentable;

(g) Strong communication, analytical and vendor management skills; and

(h) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Senior Manager – Examinations Administration(General Administration) (Ref: IP/06/244)

Date for Application Review: 8 July 2025

Duties: Reporting to the Head of the International and Professional Examinations Division, the appointee will lead the General Administration Team to perform various general administrative and management duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Division. Responsibilities include budget planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting; handling of requisitions and payments and remittances and fee collections; recruitment, briefing/training and appointment of examination personnel and related service payments; maintaining facility operation and equipment and supplies for the paper and computer based examination centres in various HKEAA premises; recruitment of full-time and temporary staff and related training/development; maintaining effective communications with other divisions/units of the HKEAA; preparing various reports and submissions; effective document and record keeping; and managing customer service support and handling complaints. In addition, the appointee will assist the Head in leading the development and management of special projects as assigned to ensure thorough planning, execution and monitoring to ensure smooth progress and completion as well as planning and administration of minor examinations.

Requirements:

(a) A Bachelor Degree in any discipline and at least 10 years of relevant working experience, with not less than 8 years at the supervisory or managerial level in education-related or public sectors;

(b) Good knowledge of education administration or examinations operation;

(c) Solid experience in customer service, complaint handling and problem solving;

(d) Competent in business administration, development and negotiation;

(e) Strong leadership, administration and management skills;

(f) Excellent interpersonal, organisation, analytical and communication skills;

(g) Be highly meticulous and able to work under pressure and irregular hours;

(h) Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua.

職責範圍:
