Officer – Information Technology (IT Application) (Ref: IT/06/322)
Date for Application Review: 26 June 2026
Duties: The appointee will be responsible for the development, implementation, support and maintenance of core IT application systems. The role serves as a technical contributor with hands-on delivery, contributing to code-level security activities, architecture assessments and technology evaluations to support the Authority's digital modernization objectives.
The appointee is required to deliver the following key responsibilities:
(a) Participate in application system development and implementation, contributing to code-level development, testing and deployment activities;
(b) Assist in technical assessments, feasibility reviews and Proof of Concept (POC) exercises for adopting emerging technologies, tools, new frameworks & architecture and AI services integration;
(c) Support and cooperate with application security activities including vulnerability remediation and code changes to address identified application security risks;
(d) Contribute to the adoption of secure coding standards and the integration of application security testing tools into the development lifecycle; and
(e) Provide application support, system maintenance and troubleshooting for production systems.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines;
(b) At least 5 years' post-qualification IT experience in application system development and implementation;
(c) Hands-on experience in web application development with solid hands-on experience in related frameworks (e.g. Java Spring Boot, React, Vue.js, Node.js);
(d) Strong technical know-how and hands-on experience in one or multiple domains:
Cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS, Alibaba Cloud or GCP)
Mobile application development
Oracle Database, NoSQL databases or cloud native databases
AI/ML technologies
Modern system design patterns (e.g. API gateway, microservices)
(e) Exposure to the practical use of AI tools to assist in software development cycle (e.g. coding or code review) will be an advantage;
(f) Self-motivated, innovative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, team player with good communication skills; and
(g) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.

Part-time Assistant Officer – Finance

Duties: The appointee will handle job duties of Finance Operation Team, including process payment and receipts, prepare journal entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, prepare month-end account breakdown and handle reports for international examinations.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree, preferable in Finance and/or Accounting;
(b) At least 3 years’ working experience in book keeping, accounting and/or auditing;
(c) Good PC skills with experience in using Account System preferable;
(d) Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English;
(e) Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(f) Attention to details, organised and independent.
Candidates with less academic qualifications and possess substantial relevant experience may also be considered.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a temporary contract with MPF benefits.

Senior Personal Assistant (Ref: SGO/06/321)

Duties: The appointee will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Secretary General and Directors as assigned. Major duties including drafting and editing documents, office administration, scheduling meetings and arranging logistics, providing full secretarial support for domestic and international duty trips, assisting in the preparation, compilation and distribution of Council/Committee papers and documents, maintaining filing systems, records and publications, coordinating with internal and external parties in connection with committee work and the Authority matters, monitoring and tracking the Secretary General’s and Directors' key commitments, action items and deadlines, and following up to ensure timely progress and completion, and supporting in other organisational initiatives/corporate events and projects as well as acting as the Authority’s Mediation Coordinator for the Ombudsman, and taking up other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines;
(b) At least 5 years’ relevant experience in executive secretarial and/or administrative support;
(c) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage;
(d) Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(e) Able to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
(f) Strong time management and organising skills;
(g) High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive and vigilant approach to work; and

(c) Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Chinese word processing;
(d) Administrative and organising skills;
(e) Vigilance and attention to details with time management skills;
(f) Good communication and interpersonal skills;
(g) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage; and
(h) Knowledge of statistical applications and/or multi-media applications will be an advantage.
