Officer – Information Technology (Ref: IT/10/189) (Application Services)

Date for Application Review: 18 December 2024

Duties: The appointee will be responsible for assisting IT manager in managing the delivery of core IT application services and projects. Duties include technical solution design, system development and implementation, IT support and maintenance etc.

Requirements:

(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines;

(b) At least 5 years’ working experience in large-scale application system development and implementation;

(c) Experience in Web Application development with JAVA EE framework, SPRING and Oracle SQL;

(d) Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);

(e) Knowledge in BI reporting tools, Mobile Application Development (e.g. iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, etc), Kubernetes and Cloud technology would be an advantage;

(f) Self-motivated, innovative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, team player with good communication skills;

(g) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English; and

(h) Candidate with less experience will be considered.

Senior Officer – Information Technology (Digital Workplace) (Ref: IT/11/195)

Date for Application Review: 11 December 2024

Duties: The incumbent will report to team manager and assist in driving digital transformation initiatives of the Authority. He/she will lead the implementation of multiple digital solutions, including:

(a) Define and design the digital workplace standard and plan for the transformation roadmap;

(b) Develop, maintain, and enforce Digital Workplace Policy and Guideline in accordance with industry standards, best practices, and relevant requirements;

(c) Lead project team to build infrastructure and services, perform system integration, and implementation of multiple digital solutions;

(d) Promote new digital workplace styles, collaborate with different stakeholders to make use of new workplace tools;

(e) Evaluate emerging technologies; and

(f) Oversee IT Service Desk and deskside support team.

Requirements:

(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;

(b) At least 6 years’ working experience, with minimum of 3 years in Microsoft 365 workload implementation and/or IT services support;

(c) Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 technologies are essential;

(d) Experience with common office automation solutions, productivity tools, and end-user computing (e.g., digital signature solutions, unified communication, VDI, MDM/MAM, and endpoint security configuration) is advantageous.

(e) Profession qualifications in one or more of the followings are required:

  • Windows Client/MacOS, Microsoft 365 and Azure Technology

  • ITIL, CISSP, PMP

  • AI Application on Digital Workplace

(f) Work with 'can-do' attitude, detail-oriented, initiative-taking, and agility;

(g) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and vendor management skills; and

(h) Good communication skills in both oral and written Chinese and English.

Employment Terms:

The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a temporary contract with MPF benefits.

Temporary Officer – Information Technology (Systems Management)

Duties: The incumbent will report to team manager and play the role of IT systems engineer to support the Authority’s IT infrastructure, including:

(a) Develop, maintain and enforce Infrastructure Policy, Standard and Guideline in accordance with industry standard, best practice and relevant regulatory requirements;

(b) Implement new system solutions of backup, smart monitoring and server visualization etc;

(c) Lead the system operations transformation, incident management and work with Cyber Security Team for systems security enhancement; and

(d) Supervise and work with contractors and server and systems support personnel for project implementation and BAU support.

Requirements:

(a) A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines;

(b) At least 5 years’ working experience in IT infrastructure, especially large-scale system infrastructure management and incident management experience is an advantage;

(c) Familiar with products in the market, strong technical know-how and hands on experience in one or multiple domains:

  • Unix/Linux/Windows systems (on-premises and on Cloud)

  • Server Technology and SAN/NAS Storage

  • Microsoft 365 and SaaS application adoption

  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Server and Systems Vulnerability Management;

(d) Understand the international standard and best practice in ISO20000/27001, ITIL and/or Security and Risk Management;

(e) Holder of professional certificates in Microsoft 365, VMware, ITIL, PMP, CISSP or equivalent will be advantageous;

(f) Work with 'can-do' attitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and

(g) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Duties: The incumbent will report to team manager and play the role of IT infrastructure engineer to support the Authority’s IT infrastructure, including:

(a) Develop, maintain and enforce Infrastructure Policy, Standard and Guideline in accordance with industry standard, best practice and relevant regulatory requirements;

(b) Participate in the Datacentre Transformation Project to implement new solutions of backup, smart monitoring and server virtualization and etc;

(c) Lead the datacentre operations transformation, incident management and work with Cyber Security Team for infrastructure security enhancement;

(d) Supervise contractors and datacentre operators; and

(e) Work with contractors for project implementation and BAU support.

Requirements:

(a) A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.

(b) At least 5 years’ working experience in IT infrastructure, especially next-generation datacentre transformation project and infrastructure refreshment experience is an advantage.

(c) Familiar with products in the market, strong technical know-how and hands on experience in one or multiple domains:

  • Server and system backup solutions

  • HCI, Server virtualization technology

  • Server Technology (Windows and Linux on-premises and on Cloud)

  • Datacentre facilities, BMS, IoT

(d) Understanding in international standard and best practice in ISO20000/27001, ITIL and/or Security and Risk Management

(e) Holder of professional certificates in CDCP, ITIL, PMP, CISSP or equivalent will be advantageous

(f) Working with 'can-do' attitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and

(g) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

臨時行政助理 (短期/長期)

職責範圍:

工作範圍包括一般文書處理、校對資料、櫃台服務、監考、執拾考試用品及其他辦公室雜務等,或需搬運重物及外勤工作。

合約時段:

數天至數星期不等,表現良好者或會獲邀請續約。

工作時間:

通常每天工作 9 小時,但實際工作時數及上下班時間會因應考試運作需要而有所不同,並可能有需要於公眾假期期間上班。
