Systems Project Assistant (Systems & Digital Services)
Salary: HKD68 per hour (up to 10-17 hours/week)
Part-time appointments from July – August 2025.
Duties
The Library launched a GPT-based chatbot on its homepage a few months ago. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in evaluate the chatbot’s responses based on user feedback. The successful candidate will work closely with library IT staff. Duties include but not limited to:
Compiling various reports for library colleagues to evaluate chatbot performance and user behavior.
Identifying and analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the chatbot.
Suggesting improvements to help library colleagues enhance the chatbot’s effectiveness.
Participating in technical development tasks to improve chatbot services if the appointee possesses sufficient IT programming skills.
Highly Desirable Qualities
Applicant has experience and knowledge on API framework, Python, PHP, CSS and JavaScript will be an advantage. A creative mind and being user-oriented are essential qualities. Expecting excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently, can take initiative and strong problem-solving skills.

Library Administration Office Student Helper
Salary: HKD68 per hour (up to 17 hours/week for weekdays only)
Part-time appointments from July – 31 August 2025 (renewable)
Duties:
Maintain and assist in data input
Assist staff with facilities to perform inventory checking
Update website
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Strong sense of responsibility
Ability to perform detailed and accurate work
Good communication and interpersonal skills with team spirit
Proficient in Chinese word processing and MS Office including Word and Excel
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator preferred
