Accounting Officer (3 positions) - Finance Office
The job location for this position will be in Kwun Tong.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in the day-to-day operations of all accounting activities, including processing reimbursements and supplier payments, managing the receipt of tuition fees, handling monthly payroll and MPF, and ensuring compliance with University policies and external regulations.
Prepare month-end closing and year-end closing schedules, reconciliations and other accounting-related tasks, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist in budget preparation and rolling forecasts.
Support system enhancement and conduct user acceptance tests.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in universities, NGOs, or sizable organizations.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ERP system.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt in dynamic environments, work independently and efficiently under pressure, demonstrate responsibility and self-motivation.
Professional qualification in accounting body is advantageous.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
