CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) is registered under the laws of Hong Kong as a non-profit making and tax exempt charity. CCIL aims at nurturing and expanding an active community for climate justice. It is actively engaging NGOs, business, policy makers, the youths for achieving just transition to a low carbon economy where vulnerable communities will be respected and protected.
Programme Officer (Full-Time)
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who aligns with our values and initiatives, and is ready to contribute to building a more sustainable Hong Kong with a just transition. We require an experienced, self-motivated and resourceful person who is able to lead current projects as well as contribute to the organisation’s future growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist, lead, organise and implement climate education and adaptation programmes for the community;
Support stakeholder engagement events and support programme activities;
Develop and maintain partnership with international and/or local trust, foundation, institutions, NGOs, supporting organisations for effective programme operations;
Cultivate and sustain networks with programme participants to ensure ongoing engagement and impact;
Prepare promotion materials and other communications for social media or website to raise awareness and support for CCIL's initiatives;
Conduct data collection, compile report and analyse the impact of the programmes;
Perform ad-hoc duties required by the Management.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferably 2 years’ relevant working experience in NGOs, particularly in community development, education and youth empowerment, climate related programmes. Fresh university graduates will also be considered if track records in extra curricular activities are provided.
Strong passion for climate change, sustainability, and community engagement, with relevant work experience considered a significant advantage;
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of project stakeholders and the community at large;
Strong organisational abilities, multi-tasking skills and attention to details, with the capacity to work independently and under pressure;
A team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues and partners to achieve common goals;
Self-motivate, eager to explore, learn and share knowledge on related issues;
Proficiency in using multimedia production software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and social media application is preferable.
Salary package with fringe benefits will commensurate with the qualification and experience of the successful candidate.
