Project Assistant (two posts)
[Appointment period: each for twelve months]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Development of system for information sharing and research support”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in setting up, managing and troubleshooting the department intranet system to ensure smooth operation and accessibility for staff;
(b) support training, stakeholder communication and preparation of project deliverables to promote system adoption and usability;
(c) assist in the maintenance, preparation and coordination of computers, laboratory samples and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of teaching and research laboratories in radiography; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) at least one year of relevant working experience;
(c) basic familiarity with software development, database management, IT hardware and radiography equipment;
(d) strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies; and
(e) ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preference will be given to those with immediate availability.
