Membership Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate strategies in membership recruitment and retention for both Corporate and Individual Members

  • Work closely with management team in membership recruitment including banks’ senior management, award judges, HKIB programmes’ trainers & examiners, committee members, event sponsors, etc.

  • Collaborate with different stakeholders and collaborative partners in membership recruitment including universities, professional institutions, etc.

  • Drive membership benefits’ campaign and initiatives including free CPD activities, new members’ welcome event, life style activities, etc.

  • Work on government funded projects involving Corporate Members and other Authorized Institutions in Hong Kong

  • Oversee membership operations in enhancing efficiency including CRM system, annual renewal, feedback management, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience covering event & project management as well as stakeholders’ communications and engagement, at least 3 years’ managerial experience

  • Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge and exposure in the banking & finance industry would be advantageous

  • Able to work independently and make sensible judgment from a macro perspective

  • Able to prioritis and handle multi-tasks with tight deadlines and under pressure

  • Proven skills in communication and literacy including proof-reading and presentation skills

  • Hands-on and detailed-oriented person with high accuracy

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese 

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese typing

Manager, Professional Assessment & Certification (Development)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager (Development) will assist to lead and manage the team to develop and drive assessments of the professional banking qualification programmes in institute level, including examination, exemption, grandfathering, certification, and conversion.  He/she will work closely with the programme development departments to ensure the assessment methodology and standard is suitable for the relevant professional banking qualification programmes.  The job requires planning and managing new products, projects and activities across regions and ensures quality and consistency of the assessment processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of professional assessments to cater to the assessment needs and meet the intended outcomes of the related professional qualifications

  • Manage and execute the Smart Question Management System (SQMS) and development of Learning Management System (LMS) and Remote Exam Platform

  • Manage and assure the assessment development process to deliver quality services in accordance with the prescribed QA policies and guidelines

  • Manage in maintaining and revising the policy, procedure and guideline under the scope of professional assessment and certification

  • Prepare the development of professional assessment and certification documents such as questions pool, assessment papers, reference guidelines, correspondence letters, etc.

  • Be a core member of the project team on the accreditation of Professional Qualification Assessment Agency (PQAA), certification, and industry-related projects

  • Communicate and collaborate with external & internal stakeholders

  • Participate in and facilitate institutional events and programmes as needed

  • Drive and manage in compiling various management information reports as to reflect business updates for decision

  • Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above with at least 5-year relevant experience gained from banking, financial, training, and education industries with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role preferred

  • Attentive to details, able for multi tasking and work independently, self-motivated, and proactive

  • Good project management and quality management skills

  • Strong team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager, Professional Assessment & Certification position.
