Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

  • Product-driven branding and marketing strategy

  • Derive marketing campaigns covering a wide range of events and programmes

  • Lead and monitor the execution of marketing deliverables

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CEO and senior management in formulating and driving Institute-wide, and product-driven branding and marketing strategy

  • Understand different key stakeholders and derive marketing campaigns covering a wide range of projects, campaigns, events and programmes

  • Lead and monitor the execution of marketing channels and programmes, and evaluate the outcome and performances

  • Work closely with the product teams to develop effective marketing strategies to generate enrolment

  • Perform marketing analysis, report and generate insights to support business decisions

  • Maximise impression and consumer engagement by making the best use of social media platforms

  • Identify market opportunities, monitor market trends and contribute ideas and solutions for targeted marketing

  • Assist in ad-hoc assignment as required

Job Requirements:

  • University degree holder or above, preferably in PR & marketing, brand management, journalism, or related fields

  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience with proven track record

  • Strong team player with a sense of leadership and accountability, attentive to details and to meet tight deadlines

  • Self-motivated, multi-tasking and able to work independently under pressure

  • Fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua

Officer / Senior Officer, Marketing, Membership and Events

Job Purpose

To provide primary support to the Projects and Events team for conferences, seminars, awards and government / regulatory related initiatives, contributing to HKIB’s strategic positioning as a key driver of the Government’s objective in the sustainable development of banking professionals in Hong Kong. The role will also contribute to operational and administrative support within the Marketing, Membership and Events team to facilitate day-to-day business activities and to coordinate internal team logistics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and project support for conferences, awards, seminars and government or regulatory-related initiatives targeting different key stakeholders

  • Handle pre and post events operations including promotion, invitation, enrolment, payment, evaluation, reporting and other related documentation

  • Prepare draft materials including event invitations, members communications, pre and post event promotional write-ups, etc.

  • Liaise and coordinate with internal team and external stakeholder to ensure smooth execution

  • Provide operational and administrative support on day-to-day business and to coordinate internal team logistics, such as meeting arrangements, procurement, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree holder or above, preferably in marketing, business administration, event management or related disciplines

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in marketing or event management

  • Strong communications skills with good attention to detail

  • Self-motivated, well organized and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe and simple website editing
