Assistant Manager, Relationship Management
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Relationship Management, the colleague will assist to build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. He/she will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, driving engagement, and identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities:
Act as the key point of contact with banks (both HK and ex-HK) covering all HKIB business lines (ECF, CB, CDP, Membership and Events).
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by proactively identifying and addressing their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Support the formulation and execution of business development strategies (PQP and CDP) by conducting market research, preparing tracking reports, performing performance analysis, managing social media marketing, and maintaining active communication with banks.
Monitor key sales metrics to assess progress against targets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to ensure strategic objectives are met.
Collaborate closely with trainers to ensure that CDP training (both public and in-house) aligns with latest market developments and effectively addresses clients’ evolving training needs.
Perform quality assurance checks on CDP training to ensure it meets HKIB’s standards.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to support departmental and organisational objectives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or above in business, marketing, communications or related fields.
5+ years of experience in relationship management, account management and business development. Preferred experience in the education sector, training operations, invigilation, or examination, but not required. Banking experience is also an asset.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
Stay updated on current market conditions, identify emerging business trends, and propose product enhancement initiatives through relevant market research and analysis.
Fluent in spoken and written English, Putonghua, and Cantonese.
Proficient in computer software applications, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
Membership Manager (Outreach and Events)
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and formulate strategies in membership recruitment and retention for both Corporate and Individual Members
Effectively manage Members’ communication to ensure the membership services/benefits are visible to the key segments
Drive membership benefits’ campaign and initiatives including free CPD activities, new members’ welcome event, lifestyle activities, etc.
Work closely with management team in membership recruitment including banks’ senior management, award judges, HKIB programmes’ trainers & examiners, committee members, event sponsors, etc.
Collaborate with different stakeholders and collaborative partners in membership recruitment including universities, professional institutions, etc.
Work on government funded projects involving Corporate Members and other Authorized Institutions in Hong Kong aiming for talent development for the local banking sector
Oversee membership operations in enhancing efficiency including CRM system, annual membership renewal and member’s satisfaction and preferences surveys, etc.
Promote a data-centric mindset within the team and ensure membership data quality
Job Requirements:
Degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related discipline •
Minimum 8 years relevant experience covering event & project management as well as stakeholders’ communications and engagement with at least 3 years’ managerial experience
Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge and exposure in the banking & finance industry would be advantageous
Able to work independently and make sensible judgment from a macro perspective
Able to prioritise, to work flexibly, and to handle multi-tasks with tight deadlines and under pressure
Proven skills in communication and literacy including proof-reading and presentation skills
A hands-on and detailed-oriented person with high accuracy
Proficiency in English and Chinese (verbal and written)
Training Assistant (Part-time)
Job Responsibilities:
Provide real-time support to trainers during FLEX Learning sessions conducted via Zoom.
Manage and maintain accurate attendance records for all training sessions.
Monitor Zoom chat and respond to participant inquiries promptly.
Guide participants in using Zoom features and offer phone support when needed.
Encourage and assist participants in engaging with in-class activities.
Perform administrative tasks related to FLEX Learning, including data entry and record keeping.
Support physical training sessions by setting up rooms and equipment.
Monitor participant attendance during in-person sessions.
Address participant questions and provide on-site support to trainers.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or above in any discipline.
Experience with Zoom video conferencing and physical room/equipment setup is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing.
Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written).
