Established in 1901, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong is a major International Non-Government Charitable Organization in Hong Kong providing a spectrum of services for the betterment of the Hong Kong people in particular the poor and needy with a special focus to assist and empower the youth in Hong Kong to develop a holistic character with a passion to serve and contribute to the community in the spirit of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible: “To serve, not to be served”. The Association is now looking for high caliber candidates to fill the following position:
Psychological Counsellor 心理輔導員 (Assistant Principal Programme Secretary)
Ref: PSCCSU/06/26
Monthly salary will be starting at HK$36,850 (MPS point 16), commensurate with years of related experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide counselling services for youth and adults;
Organize and deliver school-based seminars, groups and workshops for teenagers and parents;
Collaborate with schools and other stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
Requirements:
Degree holder or above in social work or counselling or related disciplines;
Minimum 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language and Chinese Language OR; Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSE including English Language and Chinese Language or equivalent;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to work collaboratively within a team;
Responsible, empathetic, and dedicated to supporting others;
5-day work with shift duty;
Working Location: Mong Kok.
