The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association aims to develop the fullest potential of girls and young women as responsible citizens of the world.

Part-Time Project Officer (Contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, organize, and implement programmes, activities, and community service projects in line with approved budgets and project proposals

  • Prepare progress reports, statistics, and financial reports for the approved projects

  • Required to work 7-8 days per month

  • Outdoor work and weekend duties may be required

  • Primary work location is at the HKGGA Headquarters in Jordan, with occasional work at HKGGA’s activity centres or other locations as needed

  • The contract will end in March 2026

Qualifications:

  • 5 passes in HKCEE / HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics

  • 2 years relevant experience in organizing activities

  • Pleasant, able to communicate with all levels, work independently and under pressure

  • Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese

  • Proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel & Chinese word processing

  • Guiding experience is an advantage

Receptionist (Administration Department)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries efficiently

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

  • Provide administrative support as required

  • Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays when necessary

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Form 5 education or above (HKDSE or equivalent)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in reception or front desk duties

  • Additional training in customer service or office administration is an advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Well-versed in Chinese word processing using 倉頡 or 速成 input methods (compulsory)

  • Formal training in secretarial studies or business administration is preferred

  • Immediate availability is preferred

Region Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and organizing recruitment campaigns, educational events and programs.

  • Assist in exploring the potential sponsor-authorities for setting up new units.

  • Assist in region or divisions activities

  • Maintain the filing system in good order & liaise with counter-parties for information confirmation and update

  • Liaise with internal parties for data verification and database maintenance

  • Liaise with affiliating committees and local organizations; assist in seeking their support and resources for activities.

  • Liaise with Commissioners and attend their meetings if necessary.

  • Follow up and implement the recruitment plan which formulated by Membership Development Committee

  • Provide clerical and secretarial support.

  • To Coordinate ad-hoc assignments and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Education

  • At least 1 year’s working experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing (速成/倉頡).

  • Good written and spoken English and / or Putonghua will be an advantage.

  • May require to work irregular working hours in weekends and public holidays when necessary.

Project Officer (International & Mainland Liaison)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute international and mainland exchange activities and projects, to include the annual “10,000 Miles Friendship Trek” exchange programme (a joint uniformed group initiative held in Mainland).

  • Prepare funding proposals and reports.

  • General internal and external coordination with overseas Girl Guide Associations, youth groups in Mainland China and uniformed groups in Hong Kong etc. on both inbound and outbound exchange activities.

  • Support the Association on event administration, coordination and deliveries.

  • May need to work outside regular office hours.

Requirements:

  • University graduate or above, preferably major in Public Relations, Hotel & Tourism Management, Languages or related discipline.

  • Event management experiences preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.

  • Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin). The ability to write professional business correspondence is essential.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 2 years of relevant experience will be considered for the post of Officer.

  • Guiding experience is an advantage.
