SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER (FINANCE), FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION [Ref: SM/M-F&A]

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead system implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring smooth execution and user adoption.

  • Act as system administrator and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of system configurations, process flows and project decisions.

  • Review and formulate operational policies, establish effective procedures, streamline workflows, and proactively identify potential issues.

  • Maintain high standards of financial controls and reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, group policies, and regulatory standards.

  • Review contracts and commitments to safeguard proper financial control over all procurements.

  • Coordinate the annual review and update of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) register.

  • Plan and re-engineer work procedures to enhance operational performance and deliver value-added services.

  • Guide and support the team in achieving objectives and adapting to process improvements.

  • Perform any additional tasks assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications and Required Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Qualified Accountant of HKICPA or other recognized professional accounting bodies.

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within a sizeable organization; prior audit experience with a top-tier CPA firm is an advantage.

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Manager (Finance), Finance & Administration.

  • Proven success in designing and implementing financial processes.

  • Experience with ERP or financial systems transformation; project management exposure is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong ability to multitask and manage complex situations under tight deadlines.

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.

ASSOCIATE OFFICER (PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE), EDUCATION & TRAINING

[Ref: AO/A(PEF)-E&T]

The successful candidate will assist the Education and Training Department in matters pertaining to the Institute's Practical Experience Framework.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Assist in collating and processing applications with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating information sessions for stakeholders.

  • Answer general enquires via emails / phone calls and provide accurate and timely responses.

  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Qualifications and Required Attributes:

  • A recognized degree with at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions, professional bodies, or public organizations.

  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.

  • Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, well-organized, customer-focused, and a good team player.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese word processing.

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in database operations is preferred.

  • Willing to work overtime as required.

  • Immediate available is preferred.

  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Administrator.
