Job Purpose:

The Project Officer/Assistant Project Officer is responsible for supporting the Hong Kong Volunteer Award (“HKV-Award”) Secretariat in project organizing and operations plans that align with the Agency for Volunteer Service's overall mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Support delivering and coordinating events, activities or programmes for the Secretariat;
Liaise with different stakeholders to ensure smooth programme execution and logistics;
Prepare and produce various communication materials for promotional and reporting purposes;
To carry out all necessary administrative tasks relating to the operations and;
Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

A recognized degree with preferably 2 years of relevant experience (Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of working experience may be considered as Assistant Project Officer);
Organized, self-motivated and attentive with details with good communication and interpersonal skills;
Enjoy working as a team and be able to work independently;
Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
Competencies in using computer applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of design software applications is a plus;
Working overtime & outside normal office hours is occasionally required and;
Experience in social service, volunteer management or event and project organizing is an advantage.
