The CFO Office is responsible for serving the accounting and financial needs of the Head Office and coordinating the related services within the CK Hutchison Group.
Manager – Treasury Operations
Responsibilities:
Monitor head office’s short term liquidity and prepare multiple cash flow reports for submission to department head / management
Handle deposits for head office and major subsidiaries
Manage and ensure all payments are accurate and completed on time with attention to time zone and different currencies settlement requirements
Handle various intergroup companies’ funding requests and large settlement transactions
Execute foreign exchange trades for the head office and subsidiaries
Maintain positive and professional working relationships with relevant banking partners
Supervise and participate in the maintenance of various databases related to group companies’ bank deposits, payments and bank accounts as well as generation of control reports
Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
10-15 years of experience in middle office banking roles or the corporate treasury function
Strong knowledge of international remittances, with solid experience and confidence in interacting with group companies and overseas banks/bankers
Good numeric sense with sound proficiency in of Microsoft Excel; basic database knowledge would be an advantage
Able to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A team player who is willing to take on additional responsibilities
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with ability to communicate effectively with banks and colleagues at different levels and locations
