Secretary (Legal Department)

Reporting to General Manager, Legal, you will be responsible for:
providing departmental secretarial support to the General Manager, Legal;
providing a wide range of administrative support to the team, including but not limited to typing and handling substantial legal contracts, correspondence and documents, organising and maintaining files, monitoring appointments, receiving visitors, arranging meetings and maintaining meeting diaries and a legal register of legal documents, stationery ordering, process of claim expenses etc.;
ensuring smooth operation of the team and managing daily workflows with other departments in a timely manner;
assisting in the preparation of reports for the department including monthly catch-up meetings reports, Business Plan and Corporate Plan, departmental payment administration as well as auditing checking;
ensuring timely preparation and processing of expense reports and invoices; review expenses submitted against company policy;
assisting in preparation of meeting materials and presentations; and
performing any other duties from time to time as the Authority may reasonably direct.
You should:
possess a recognised university degree or equivalent;
have around 2-5 years of secretarial and administrative experience, preferably in sizable organisations;
demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft 365 application (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) and possess the ability to adapt to new technology tools;
be well organised with meticulous attention to detail;
have sensitivity to confidential matters and numbers; and
be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
General Manager, Land and Property
The General Manager, Land and Property (“GM, L&P”) shall:
formulate the overall strategy for the disposal of the Hotel, Office and Residential (HOR) and Retail, Dining and Entertainment (RDE) developments in the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) as required, including issuing tenders for developers and contractors to execute Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contracts, Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) contracts, entrustment contracts, etc.;
prepare feasibility studies on different development mixes and property development packages, collaborate with colleagues in developing the schematic design of the development packages;
collaborate with colleagues and consultants, taking into consideration the requirements of internal and external stakeholders, prepare the development tender documents including the development agreement, development brief, supporting materials and control plans and ensuring the successful award of the development tenders;
prepare Government lease applications and liaise with Government departments on the land grant terms;
collaborate with colleagues and consultants in monitoring PPP partners in their detailed design, disposal of the residential units, commercial leasing of the RDE and the successful completion of the developments; and
oversee the general land related responsibilities of the Land and Property Department.
The Ideal candidate should have:
a recognised university degree or postgraduate degree in property related disciplines, preferably in surveying;
have a membership of an appropriate professional institution or equivalent;
have at least 20 years of relevant working experience in large scale property developments; PPP development tender and land administration experience is essential;
has good commercial acumen and negotiation skills; and
excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and preferably Putonghua).

Procurement Associate

(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with the possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)
You will be responsible for:
assisting in preparation works for new launch of system(s), including but not limited to data cleansing/ mapping/ checking, user acceptance tests, and any other related tasks;
reviewing and updating various procurement-related database(s), ensure accurate and complete data input, and follow up with relevant internal/external parties as required;
preparing procurement-related reports through consolidation of data collected from database and/or user collaborations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting;
reviewing supplier registration/update requests, answer enquiries and provide any relevant supports to suppliers;
supporting users in the use of systems, (i.e. mainly the Finance ERP and Procurement e-tendering system) and/or any other platforms as required;
supporting the roll-out of any new policy and guidelines, new system launch or other initiatives, to facilitate users’ understanding and ensure compliance with the Authority’s policies and guidelines;
assisting in preparation of any presentations, training materials, web content update, or any materials as required;
supporting procurement process and executions of various procurement activities as assigned;
contributing to knowledge networks and communities of best practices; and
performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
You should:
possess a recognised degree, preferably in purchasing and supply management, business management or equivalent;
preferably have knowledge of procurement standard/regulation, processes, procedures and experiences in using e-tendering system(s);
be attentive to details, and able to handle multiple projects to meet deadlines;
have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a multi-cultural environment;
possess proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Office tools (preferably experiences in Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and Power Apps); and
be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Secretary

You will be responsible for:
providing comprehensive secretarial support to Senior Manager, Secretariat Services, including managing meeting arrangements, monitoring appointments and coordinating schedules;
assisting SMSS in departmental budget planning, payment administration and expense monitoring;
delivering secretarial, documentation and general administrative support to Secretariat Services office;
supporting logistics coordination for WKCDA Board, its committees, and subsidiary boards, liaising with related departments to ensure smooth execution of meetings;
coordinating with team members and collaborating with internal divisions and departments on daily administrative matters;
assisting in handling internal and external correspondence;
supporting preparation of meeting materials, documentation and presentations;
performing ad hoc tasks as assigned by SMSS; and
performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
You should:
possess Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) or Form 7 standard or above;
have at least 2 years of secretarial and administrative experience, preferably in serving a team in a sizable organisation;
be well organised with meticulous attention to detail;
have high proficiency in computer applications; and
be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Editor, Digital Content, M+ Museum

Summary of the Role:
Reporting to Head of Digital Content and Initiatives, the Editor, Digital Content will involve writing, editing, and producing user-friendly pages for the M+ website and creating engaging content for digital channels for M+. This position will also manage the website editorial calendar, tracking the creation, editing, translation, and publishing of digital content.
Key Accountabilities:
writing, editing, and producing online articles related to M+ and its areas of interest, including the M+ Collections, visual culture, and museological activities;
creating clear, engaging content for M+’s digital channels, including its social media accounts (e.g. Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn), newsletter, and website;
managing the editorial calendar for M+ digital properties including tracking the creation, editing, translation, and publishing of all content;
editing, fact-checking and proofreading online text, from curatorial essays to video transcripts and closed captions, to ensure the museum’s web content is accessible, authoritative, and aligned with M+ style;
uploading, publishing and managing online content using the museum’s content-management system;
liaising with third-party contributors to communicate deliverables, deadlines, and revisions, and working with freelancers to edit and translate text appearing online;
coordinating with the museum’s rights and reproduction and curatorial teams to select and clear rights for images and other content appearing online;
drafting documents as needed for the procurement of third-party editors, translators, and other service providers;
contributing to big-picture strategies that will drive the long-term development of the museum; and
performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
Entry Requirements:
The candidate should possess:
a recognised university degree in any disciplines;
at least 3-5 years of experience in digital journalism, digital media / communications, or digital content marketing;
experience in publishing web content on CMS platforms and be conversant in social media and its best practices;
strong organised with close attention to detail;
strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with a diversified team;
an interest in exploring new ways to tell stories and engage audiences, for instance with emerging platforms such as Instagram Stories;
an interest in visual-culture topics such as design, architecture, art, or moving image; and
highly proficient in written and spoken English and be able to write and edit in English to the highest level, knowledge of Cantonese or other second language would be an advantage.
