St. Teresa’s Hospital (STH) is a large private hospital in Kowloon City with over 2,200 employees. Our Information Technology Department has a work force of 40 staff and is responsible for the IT function of both STH and our sister hospital in Causeway Bay. All IT systems are developed in-house in our two hospitals. In order to cope with the expansion of activities and the development of new systems, we are looking for qualified candidates to fill the following post:

IT Services Manager

Responsibilities:

Lead IT teams and coordinate with service providers to ensure an efficient and timely delivery of system, network, security and helpdesk support for hospital
Manage IT infrastructure and operations leveraging Microsoft Window Server, O365 environment, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare ESXi Server, Mail gateway server, Veeam backup, Active Directory, DNS, firewall and Cisco switches
Engage in the full project life cycle from business requirement gathering, design, implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, quality assurance to project rollout
Monitor network traffic using PRTG
Implement cloud solution for multiple sites
Implement IP VPN network technologies between sites
Liaise with senior management to ensure IT services provided are aligned with hospital’s direction and objectives
Propose and identify new IT technologies to improve operational efficiencies and productivity
Initiate and evaluate project proposals from vendors
Ensure external service providers meet agreed service level agreements
Define priorities and manage budgets for IT department

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline
Minimum 20 years of IT experience, including at least 15 years in project management
Proven track record in process improvement and successful project implementation
Demonstrated leadership skills and business acumen with a performance-driven mindset
Strategic thinker with strong change management expertise
Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
Strong project management skills
Skilled team builder with effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills for handling people-related issues
Knowledge and experience in ITIL, CCNP, Windows administration, and database administration
Experience with Microsoft O365 will be an advantage
Experience in mobile communication technologies (Wi-Fi, 5G, IoT) will be an advantage
Cyber security knowledge with professional qualifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP or CISP will be an advantage

System Engineer / Senior System Engineer [HKD34,000 to 50,000]

Job Responsibility:

Infrastructure and hospital operations
Latest enterprise level architecture and design

Responsibilities:

Provide first or second tier system support to Microsoft Windows and O365 environments
Be responsible for Windows system administration and server daily operations handling
Perform troubleshooting for server, workstation and mobile device
Perform ad hoc projects as assigned with ability to handle independently
Prepare system documentation and maintain IT asset inventories, ensuring records are in an accurate and kept up to date
Deliver prompt and professional technical support to end-users
Vendor & License Management, negotiate support contracts, and oversee the licensing

Job Requirement:

Degree or above in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines
At least 6 years working experience in Windows infrastructure administration and monitoring
Experience in Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Defender, O365 including Exchange Online in a hybrid environment, Web Proxy, Email Gateway, SAN storage and SAN switch management
Experience in VMware vSphere, NAS, SAN and Veeam backup
Experience of central management like Windows patching and endpoint management
Experience with immutable backup solutions or Cross-Platform Migration from VMware is a plus.
Experience administering Linux servers (Ubuntu, or similar) is a plus.
Certificate holder in MCSE / MCITP / VCP / ITIL would be an advantage
Good command of written and spoken in English and Cantonese
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

Analyst Programmer

Job Responsibility:

Mobile and web development in hospital environment
Equipped with healthcare domain knowledge and industry know-how

Responsibilities:

Engage as a Full Stack Developer on React, Node.js, Android, React Native, and other modern framework
Provide software development services, including program design, coding, testing, debugging program modules, and resolving system logic difficulties
Communicate with the business user to gather information and analyze business needs, in order to recommend viable solutions to meet the requirements
Manage the development process and interact with in-house or vendor’s development team to ensure timely and quality delivery of expected system change
Develop training materials and conduct training courses for users under the supervision of superiors
Advise user on course of action on system operation, enhancements and workaround

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in IT system development, support and maintenance
Experience in Internet/Intranet applications, website development, and graphic design tools
Experience in Microsoft .NET, MS SQL Server
Experience in React or mobile application development is an advantage
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, independent and self-motivated

Programmer / Senior Programmer

Job Responsibility:

Full Stack developer experience in IoT, mobile, and web development
Possesses knowledge and expertise in the healthcare industry

Responsibilities:

Engage as a Full Stack Developer on Angular, Node.js, Android, ReactNative, and other programming framework
Communicate with business users in gathering requirements and analyse business needs to meet hospital workflow
Involve in system development life cycle like system analysis and design, integration test, user acceptance test and user documentation to fit in a large-scale enterprise environment
Participate in both in-house and vendor development teams to deliver a timely and quality service
Provide system maintenance and support to ensure sustainable development for the hospital

Job Requirement:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent
Development experience in web or mobile application is preferable
Experience in Microsoft .NET, MS SQL Server is an advantage
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, independent and self-motivated
Have a good understanding of software development life cycle processes, documentation and methodologies

Lecturer I/II (School of Nursing)

Job Requirement:

Have a valid RN practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong
Master degree in Nursing

For Lecturer I, a minimum of 8 years relevant post-registration experience in health care including at least 3 years of working experience in the nursing education or management

Job Responsibility:

Perform general radiography and diagnostic imaging exams in different modalities;

Perform shift duties in diagnostic imaging exams and handle related administrative issues as necessary; and
Take on any other duties assigned by the Radiographer In-Charge.

Job Requirement:

A Certificate of Registration (Category D) (Part I/II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Radiographers Board, HK

Associate Engineer (Biomedical)

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for procurement and management of medical/radiological equipment.
Manage maintenance contracts which include planning preparation of specifications on all aspects of related biomedical engineering work, operation and maintenance.
Advise, review, plan, organize and monitor the provision of biomedical engineering services.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Hospital Management.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines.
Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in quality assurance, maintenance, registration and other matters related to medical equipment.
Exposure in dealing with external parties such as government departments and vendors.
Experience in hospitals or medical equipment industries is preferred but not mandatory.
Good command in both written and spoken English/Chinese.
Self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skills.
