Engineer (Construction & Maintenance) (Ref. No. TND-CM-EI-COW)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Construction & Maintenance Engineer, the appointee will perform the following responsibilities:

To assist in installation, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of all plants and equipment in the transmission and distribution (T&D) networks 
To supervise technicians / tradesmen / contractors in operations, maintenance work and capital projects of T&D systems 
To conduct system study, performance analysis, research and development on main plants and auxiliary systems as well as formulate and implement improvement plans in T&D networks from low voltage to 275 kV 
To assist in review / preparation of test forms and working procedures 
To perform operational duties beyond office hours as required

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably with major in High Voltage Engineering and/ or Power System Study 
A minimum of 5 years’ work experiences in electrical industry or 3 years' after completion of recognised graduate training 
Experience in operating SAP system and completed training courses on ISO 55001 standards and asset management an advantage 
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written 
Holder of a valid driving licence for Class 1 and 2 vehicles

Working Location: Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided

System Specialist (Smart Metering) (Ref. No. CS-M-SSSM-COW)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Meter Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

To perform the development of in-house tools to support the daily operations of the smart metering systems, and to handle meter data enquiries 
To operate smart metering systems for remote data retrieval, meter data management and data estimation monitoring 
To check and handle abnormal meter events/alarms, missing data and exception cases of data validation 
To conduct remote programming, firmware upgrade, associated preparation and Quality Assurance (QA) testing for the meters and communication equipment 
To monitor the meter communication network and perform operational tasks

Requirements:

Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines 
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the electrical function, computer programming or data analytics 
Good knowledge of IT applications 
Knowledge of metering principles, electrical system design, Supply Rules and Guide to Connection of Supply, IT Project and Building Energy Management System an advantage 
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Assistant Manager (Project Management Office) (Ref: IT-PMO-AM-COW)

Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Project Management Office), the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

To manage the planning and execution of IT projects in respect to schedule, budget, issues and risks 
To coordinate with internal and external parties for the execution of IT projects 
To lead progress review meetings and prepare progress reports 
To ensure issues and risks are managed and escalated efficiently

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related disciplines 
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in IT, of which at least 3 years with proven track records in IT project management 
Certificate on PMP and ITIL an advantage 
Excellent command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Candidate with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Senior Officer.

Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Principal IT Lead, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

To design, implement, and manage Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database systems 
To ensure high availability, data integrity, and recoverability of database systems 
To maintain documentation and ensure system compliance 
To collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth system integration with enterprise applications 
To support IT infrastructure-related projects, evaluate emerging technologies and mentor junior staff

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines 
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in administering Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases 
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
- Virtualisation platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) 
- Server OS (e.g. Windows Server, Redhat Linux) 
- Backup platforms (e.g. Veeam) 
- Monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds) 
Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle or PMP an advantage 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written

Candidate with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Senior IT Specialist.
