Assistant System Control Engineer (Ref. No. SC-OPS-ASCE-COW)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the System Operations Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

To control and monitor the Company's power system and coordinate the work on the High Voltage (HV) apparatus
To assist in assessing distribution outages and prepare switching programmes and contingency plans to maintain the continuity and security of supply of the distribution system
To carry out operations related to HV equipment outages, commissioning and routine testing
To perform duties of 24-hour shift roster or irregular hours

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
A minimum of 2 years' work experience in operation, control, planning and/or other relevant areas in the power industry
Proficiency in Computer Aided Drawing Software and/or Excel
Good understanding in distribution network and power system operations
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Working Location: Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided

Engineer (Construction & Maintenance) (Ref: TND-CM-EI-COW)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Construction & Maintenance Engineer, the appointee will perform the following responsibilities:

To assist in installation, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of all plants and equipment in the transmission and distribution (T&D) networks
To supervise technicians / tradesmen / contractors in operations, maintenance work and capital projects of T&D systems
To conduct system study, performance analysis, research and development on main plants and auxiliary systems as well as formulate and implement improvement plans in T&D networks from low voltage to 275 kV
To assist in review / preparation of test forms and working procedures
To perform operational duties beyond office hours as required

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably with major in High Voltage Engineering and/ or Power System Study
A minimum of 5 years’ work experiences in electrical industry or 3 years' after completion of recognised graduate training
Experience in operating SAP system and completed training courses on ISO 55001 standards and asset management an advantage
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
Holder of a valid driving licence for Class 1 and 2 vehicles

Working Location: Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided

Candidates with less relevant experience/ qualification will be considered.

Technical Services Engineer II (Ref: GEN-MH-TSEII-COW)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Technical Services Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

To comment on submissions from internal and external parties to ensure the requirements of all stakeholders are incorporated in all projects
To ensure that equipment supplied by the contractors meets the operational, maintenance, availability, reliability and safety standards
To investigate plant defects, design and supervise modifications and improvements to plant facilities
To review and conduct technical investigations on proposed improvements concerning plant efficiency, reliability and environmental impact
To handle innovation projects for improvement of plant safety, efficiency and reliability

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in operations or maintenance of power/heavy industries or projects and site work management of large-scale projects
Basic knowledge of power generation system, gas facilities and relevant Regulations and Ordinances
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
Holder of valid driving license an advantage

Working Location: Lamma Island, transportation to be provided.
