Business Policy Officer/Trainee
Duties:
Provide administrative and logistical support to committee secretaries in arranging Chamber industry-focused committee meetings (including record keeping, meeting agenda and minutes preparations) and organising events such as seminars and external visits (including managing speaker liaison, event promotions and venue arrangements);
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry, Government and other public bodies to ensure the effective delivery of Chamber services and facilitate its role as the voice of business in Hong Kong;
Assist in conducting research, surveys and analyses on the business environment of Hong Kong;
Assist in preparing presentations, speeches, media kits, and research briefs as necessary;
Monitor business issues, policies and legislative developments affecting businesses in Hong Kong;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Political Science, Journalism or related disciplines;
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience; candidates with less experience may be considered as Trainee;
Familiarity with issues affecting local and international business markets as well as working with Government departments is an advantage;
Fluent in English and Chinese; capable of delivering clear and professional communication in both written and spoken formats;
Well-versed in event/project management, collaborative and possess good interpersonal skills;
Attentive to detail.
Manager – Membership & Business Development
Duties:
The Manager will drive front-end membership sales through proactive outreach, CRM pipeline optimization, and campaign execution. This role focuses on lead generation, prospect conversion, and seamless handover to onboarding teams, ensuring robust membership growth.
Requirements:
Experience: 5–7 years in sales, membership acquisition, or pipeline-driven roles.
Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), cold outreach, and data-driven sales strategies. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Performance: History of meeting/exceeding sales targets in fast-paced environments.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
Languages: Proficient in English and Cantonese; Mandarin a plus.
