Junior Systems Analyst
Duties
The candidate will assist in the business development of Chamber Services Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. He/She will also support the Membership and Events Team of the Chamber. The candidate is expected to:
Work independently on event planning and logistics, including events calendar updating, events scheduling and coordinating with sponsors, training partners, vendors, venue operators, caterers etc.;
Collaborate with internal teams to execute corporate events and activities through training, seminars, meetings, conferences, workshops, visits, luncheons, networking, and other business-related events for both members and non-members;
Design and write up for event promotional materials, e.g., event webpage setup, posters, brochures, EDMs, and social media posting;
Conduct market research for business development and provide customer service and liaison to sponsors and clients;
Follow up with sponsors regarding advertisement/marketing exposure etc.;
Provide administrative support for the membership team in membership retention, renewal, events, and any assigned interest groups and their initiatives/events;
Support other ad-hoc duties and activities as required.
Other Requirements:
University graduate in marketing, event management, hospitality, or business-related disciplines;
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; working in business development or event marketing is preferred but not essential;
A self-starter who is positive, energetic, self-motivated, and can work independentl
Good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills;
Be able to multitask but with paying attention to details, and can work under pressure;
Experience in social media post creation and page management;
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of graphic design software;
Immediately available is preferred.
Senior Events Executive
