The appointees are expected to teach courses in their fields of expertise, supervise taught postgraduate students’ dissertations and laboratory practice/clinical practicum, execute quality assurance requirements, and contribute to programme and curriculum development.
Requirements:
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Chinese Medicine or a related field, and have at least 10 years of teaching and programme administration experience in a higher education institution in Chinese medicine. Applicants with less teaching and administration experience may be considered for appointment as Lecturer I or Lecturer II. Fluency in Putonghua and/or Cantonese is required, and a good command of written and spoken English is highly desirable.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two to three years commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Department is recruiting one scholar at the rank of Research Assistant Professor with research interests in areas such as applied probability, spatial statistics, and stochastic processes. Responsibilities:
Student Lifecycle Management: Support the administration of the student lifecycle for research postgraduate programmes, including admission, enrolment, registration, and graduation;
Data Management and Vetting: Conduct thorough vetting and verification of student records to ensure accuracy and compliance, and consolidate and maintain reliable data for programme administration;
Reporting: Compile and analyse statistics and prepare reports; and

Requirements:
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field;
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in postgraduate programme administration, or expertise in managing spreadsheets and databases;

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork;

Responsibilities:
Plan and execute various recruitment activities and career programs, including career fairs, recruitment talks, local and non-local internship programs, networking events, Mainland and overseas career exploration trips, mentoring schemes, and employability skills training;
Coordinate and engage with key stakeholders, including employers, students, faculties, trainers, and program partners, to enhance and strengthen long-term employability outcomes;

Project Assistant (Research Administration) (25260795)
The Faculty is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Assistant to provide support in research administrative activities. Reporting to the Faculty Research Senior Manager, the qualified candidate will contribute to the delivery of faculty-led initiatives and ensure the smooth flow of projects, data accuracy, and timely deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Research Administration Support
Assist with research data collection, processing, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance;
Provide guidance to departments on research-related administrative matters; and
Prepare reports, funding application, and analyses as required.
Postgraduate Research Support
Support administrative processes for Research Postgraduate (RPg) programmes, including student enquires, document preparation, and data management; and
Collaborate with academic units to ensure alignment with institutional guidelines and deadlines.
Research Events and Outreach Coordination
Assist in planning and organising faculty research events, workshops, and conferences;
Liaise with and maintain clear communication with internal and external research reviewers, guest speakers, and collaborators;
Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion and deliverables; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience;
Professional fluency in both Chinese and English;
Excellent organisational and project management skills;
Experience in data collection, handling, management, and visualisation for the purpose of drafting/finalising funding proposals/research is preferred;
Self-driven, proactive, good communication and interpersonal skills; and
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
