Business Teacher (High School)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with other teachers in the team to plan and deliver an effective instructional program aligned with well-defined curricular and school goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in relevant major subject(s), preferably in Business, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent teaching credential with at least 10 weeks' practicum required

  • Teacher education/ training accepted by Alberta Education

  • Prior experience in teaching Business and/or relevant major subject(s) in high schools and international schools preferred

  • High level of English proficiency in spoken and written English required

  • While not essential, please state any IB or AP teaching experience

  • Candidate embracing the values of Christian education preferred

Effective Date of Employment

The starting date for this appointment is mid-August 2026. Initial contract is normally 2 years in duration. Renewable 2-year contracts are offered subject to mutual agreement.

Mathematics Teachers (High School)

Primary School Homeroom Teacher (Upper Primary)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching activities and programmes across key learning areas for students

  • Provide instruction in all core subjects at a single grade level including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, and Bible. Courses such as PE, Music, Art, and Mandarin are taught by subject specialists

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in grade level teams

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Senior Leaders

Qualifications and Experience;

  • Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in relevant major subject(s) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent teaching credential with at least 10 weeks' practicum required

  • Teacher education/ training accepted by Alberta Education

  • Elementary / primary teacher training required and prior experience in teaching in primary schools strongly preferred

  • High level of English proficiency in spoken and written English required

Learning Support Teacher (High School) (Maternity Leave Substitution)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with classroom teachers and administration in identification of learning needs, appropriate program design, and service delivery

  • Guidance to classroom teachers on appropriate instructional strategies, behavior management, data collection, observation, and feedback

  • Direct special education instruction provided within the classroom through collaborative co-teaching

  • Direct support for individual students through adaptations or modifications to curriculum and assessment

  • Individualized or small group instruction to address academic or behavioral needs of students either within the classroom or outside for specific skill development

  • Direct intensive specialized instruction utilizing specialized strategies, techniques, and, when necessary, an alternative curriculum for individuals or small groups

  • Specific skill training in remediating academic, social, emotional and behavioural skill deficits

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in relevant major subject(s) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent teaching credential with at least 10 weeks' practicum required; Master's degree in special education preferred

  • Previous experience as a special education or learning support teacher or teaching assistant preferred

  • 5 or more years of classroom teaching experience preferred

  • High level of English proficiency in spoken and written English required

  • Knowledge of current trends in educational research and development pertaining to special education; Proven expertise in facilitating student-centered learning and assessment through inquiry, differentiated instruction and application of technology in teaching and learning

  • Teaching qualification recognized by the Hong Kong Education Bureau

  • Current eligibility for employment in Hong Kong

  • Candidate embracing the values of Christian education preferred

Effective Date of Employment

The duration for this appointment is from early-January to mid-April 2026.

Admissions Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing applications, handling phone and email inquiries, preparing promotional materials and conducting school tours

  • Support the Admissions Team throughout the annual re-enrollment process

  • Assist in the student withdrawal process

  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth enrollment process for new families

  • Maintain student data on the online application system and assist with providing monthly admissions report

  • Attend and support admissions and advancement events where appropriate and needed

  • Carry out any other job duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Advancement

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in admissions function in international schools or higher education institutions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Applications

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, including Putonghua

  • Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills

  • A team player and able to maintain confidentiality

  • A professional who believes in the mission of the School

  • A commitment to working within a Christian values-based environment is preferred
