Administrative Officer (Finance), Finance and Estates Office

Duties:
The appointee will be attached to the Finance and Estates Office of the University and will assist in performing the following duties:

a)      preparing analyses for budgeting and management accounting purposes;

b)      processing transactions onto the Financial Management Information System;

c)      handling tuition fee collection and preparing receipt vouchers;

d)      preparing various reports and returns for submission to the Education Bureau and other Government departments; and

e)      carrying out ad hoc administration work as assigned.

Appointment Criteria:

Applicants should have (a) a recognised degree (preferably in business administration or accounting disciplines); (b) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (c) proficiency in computer applications; and (d) good analytical, organizing and communication skills.

Preference will be given to applicants who have hands-on experience in budget preparation and management accounting.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
