Senior Manager– Blockchain and Web 3 (Ref# SMBAW250729W)

Drive the transformation of Hong Kong into a global Web3 hub - as part of our team, you'll collaborate with visionary startups, large corporates, VCs and more, to turn blockchain and Web3.0's potential into real-world impact. At Cyberport, you'll operate at the intersection of technology, strategy, and ecosystem building. If you thrive on solving complex challenges while pushing the boundaries of decentralized technology and innovations in traditional industries, this role offers an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and execute partnerships with various protocols and blockchain ecosystems from overseas, mainland China and locally

  • Manages blockchain & Web3.0 tech talent communities (including developers) and collaborate with relevant partners

  • Manages blockchain & web3.0 related talent cultivation initiatives, including blockchain & web3 certification courses and collaborations with universities, professional training and partnerships

  • Project management of specific programme or initiative

  • Build relationships with high potential Blockchain & Web3.0 companies, design and execute partnerships as appropriate

  • Design and operate initiatives and programmes with Blockchain & Web3.0 industry stakeholders including enterprises, regulators, universities, associations etc.

  • Work with tech companies and enterprises in facilitating implementation of high-impact Blockchain & Web3.0 use cases including tokenisation & payment/ stablecoin

  • Represent Cyberport to attend external Blockchain & Web3.0 conferences, meetings and industry events

  • Provide content for major events hosted by Cyberport and lead execution of Blockchain & Web3.0 specific events

  • Reporting and communication with government organisations as appropriate

  • Follow industry trends and market updates, conduct necessary market research, identify and develop market development opportunities

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or from the technology sector. Strong network with blockchain protocols and other industry stakeholders is a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or Barchelor's Degree in a non-technical discipline with a well-recognised technical certification

  • With good knowledge of the Blockchain & Web3.0 industry

  • Technical expertise in blockchain

  • Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Able to read and write in English and Chinese

  • Strong blockchain & Web3.0 industry network is a plus

  • Ablilty to conduct conversations with business leaders and developers in the Blockchain & Web3.0 space

  • Exceptional project management, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager

Officer - Retail Marketing (Arcade@Cyberport) (Ref# ORM240725W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive event management and administrative support to the Manager, ensuring seamless operations.

  • Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to execute assigned tasks promptly and professionally.

  • Oversee and guide agencies in the production of all communication materials, managing the process from layout design and printing to display and distribution.

  • Assist in the strategic planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation of marketing events and promotional activities, including festive campaigns, sales-driven promotions, public relations events, in-mall decorations, and social media initiatives for The Arcade at Cyberport.

  • Identify and pursue collaborative marketing opportunities with tenants and external partners to enhance community engagement within the Cyberport ecosystem.

  • Collaborate closely with the Campus Management, Leasing, and Sales Teams to ensure flawless logistical arrangements for all promotional activities.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in event marketing is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.

  • Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Strong creative, analytical, and organizational capabilities.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and self-motivation.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Attributes:

  • Fast learner and collaborative team player.

  • Proactive and positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.

  • Candidates with substantial experience may be considered for a Senior Officer position.

Event Assistant (Ref#EA250704W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support events from pre-event logistics, and on-site assistance

  • Responsible for all upcoming events in Cyberport

  • Supporting the delivery of external and internal events at Cyberport

  • Assist in preparing proposals for customers' enquiry on venue rental

  • Reporting to Senior Manager, Campus Management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in event/exhibition

  • Diploma or University graduate

  • With event operations experience

  • Good Customer Service skills and details oriented

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The position is on a 1-year term contract, renewal depends on performance and operation needs
