The Hong Kong Arts Festival is a non-profit organization committed to enriching the cultural life of the city. It presents around 130 performances by top local and international talent in February and March each year, while also offering a wide range of complementary and educational events in venues across the city.

2026 Hong Kong Arts Festival – Production Manager

The Hong Kong Arts Festival is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the cultural life of the city by presenting performances of leading local and international artists in all genres of the performing arts as well as a diverse range of educational events in February and March each year.

Programme Features

Handle With Care offers an immersive experience, you won’t just watch the show— you’ll become part of it. There’s no script, no set storyline and no assigned roles. Everything begins with the opening of a mysterious box. Inside are unexpected surprises, objects and words that guide the unfolding narrative. Every choice you make shapes the story, sparking surprise, excitement and deep reflection. The chemistry between participants creates moments that are unexpected, unforgettable and uniquely yours. Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and being a good team player

  • Knowledge of design software, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is a must

  • Responsible for communicating with printing vendors and managing the production process

  • Basic stage technical knowledge will be an added advantage

  • Proficient in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Proactive, friendly, and courteous

  • Full attendance is mandatory

Job Duties:

  • Coordination of the production

  • Pre-production support

  • Performing any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

  • Proficient in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Proactive, friendly, and courteous

  • Full attendance is mandatory

  • Providing ushering service and event support

  • Collecting and verifying tickets from the participants

  • Performing any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Working period: February – March 2026, with three sessions of production meeting in Decemberband January
