Industry Manager, Retail, Large Customer Sales (English, Cantonese, Mandarin)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • Ability to communicate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently to support client management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience navigating and influencing global organizational structures.

  • Knowledge of Google's advertising ecosystem, and ability to deploy AI-driven features for customer growth automation.

  • Ability to negotiate and deliver multi-year partnerships or Joint Business Plans with enterprise-level organizations, utilizing data for business forecasting, business pipeline management, and identify opportunities.

  • Ability to advocate key vertical business models and macro-trends, advising clients on AI's impact on P&L and market positioning, create engaging, data-driven narratives for C-suite audiences to simplify AI concepts and influence the adoption of strategies.

  • Excellent operational discipline and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executives, influencing their business strategy and Profit and Loss (P&L) outcomes through Google’s technology and advertising solutions.

  • Pitch full-funnel AI solutions to improve business impacts translating capabilities into business objectives that drive efficiency in customer acquisition and loyalty.

  • Identify new opportunities to own the growth trajectory. Advocate for innovative products that solve vertical-specific complexities, leverage success to expand marketing investments.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver strategies, while maintaining operational discipline.

  • Represent Google as an industry expert in the retail space, contributing to market-shaping insights and navigating the sector through profound macro-economic shifts.


Data Analytics Sales Specialist, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in promoting analytics, data warehousing, or data management software.

  • Experience working with sales engineers and customer technical leads to build business cases regarding plans for implementation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI), data analytics middleware, or data warehouse technologies.

  • Understanding of data analytics technology stack (e.g., Hadoop/Spark, columnar data warehouses, data streaming, ETL and data governance, predictive analytics, data science framework).

  • Understanding of Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Pub/Sub).

  • Ability to engage audiences through social channels and deliver messages.

  • Ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders as a business advisor and thought leader in data and analytics.

  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills, using data to inform decisions and influence stakeholders.

As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will build an understanding of our customers businesses and bring expertise to executive-level relationships to help them deliver their strategies. You will leverage expertise promoting data analytics and work with Account teams, Customer Engineering, and Partners to ensure customer results.

  • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud data and analytics solutions, articulating key solution differentiation and the business impacts.

  • Work with Google account and technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, and provide expertise. Develop Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts with Google Cloud platform partners.
