Hong Kong Education City Limited (EdCity) is a wholly-owned company of the Government of HKSAR. Our portal, EdCity.hk, is a one-stop professional educational portal in Hong Kong which incorporates information, resources, interactive communities and online services, and promotes the use of information technology (I.T.) in improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning. We are now looking for a high caliber professional to join our dynamic team in the following position.

Project Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the educational projects;

  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, facilitating the development of technology and educational partnerships;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement educational content that meets the diverse needs of our user base;

  • Development of innovative education / training services that align with the company’s strategic direction towards integrating AI and digital learning;

  • Assist in preparing projects progress and analytic reports to the management; Provide administrative support to the team in day-to-day operations;

  • Take up ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in any disciplines or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or IT/AI related;

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in EdTech, training and education, and project management & coordination. Experience in handling government funded projects is an advantage;

  • Experience in developing eLearning projects and education support through websites, online platforms, mobile applications and social media;

  • Good computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools; Familiar with generative AI tools and applications;

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping, with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under schedule;

  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English;

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Project Officer.

Partnership Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the projects implementation, develop project strategies to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards;

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in Local, Mainland and Overseas, facilitating the development of technology and educational partnerships;

  • Manage the development of innovative education projects that align with the company’s strategic direction towards integrating AI and digital learning;

  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success;

  • Investigate into and keep abreast of the latest education and technology trends in order to strategise EdCity partnership and ecosystem;

  • Take up ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline or equivalent, Master’s degree or above is preferrable;

  • Minimum 12 years’ working experience, with 6 or more years at supervisory level, working experience related to Mainland collaboration preferred;

  • Solid experience in partnership development, ecosystem and network building, in both Hong Kong and Mainland;

  • Solid experience in project management, especially in large scale events, EdTech or government-funded digital transformation projects and IT related projects;

  • Strong understanding of AI and digital learning technologies, with the ability to integrate these into educational services, with in-depth knowledge of technology development in mainland China preferred;

  • Experience in developing and justifying educational content that aligns with user needs and industry best practices will be an advantage;

  • Good understanding in Hong Kong education system, primary and/or secondary subject-matter curriculum knowledge;

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, organisation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders;

  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
