Project Officer (A)

Key Responsibilities

  • To handle donor enquiries and maintain the donor relationship management system with complete, accurate and timely data updates.

  • To support fundraising events and campaigns, from planning to execution, including campaign launches, prepare speeches, features, appeals and help arrange prospect/donor visits, events and tours.

  • To support the administration and logistics of fundraising initiatives (events and online), with a focus on general donations; achievement oriented and target driven.

  • Assist in evaluating and managing business partners (e.g. production houses, agencies, vendors) to ensure service quality and compliance with RMHC Hong Kong policies.

  • To coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and provide high quality engagement and customer service to partners, donors and participants.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, reports, presentations, promotional contents and publicity materials.

  • To work with Development Department managers to support fundraising events and projects, helping to grow the leadership giving programme.

  • Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Degree holder preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in fund-raising, marketing communications, or event management.

  • Work experience in NGOs or educational institutions, and in membership programs, fundraising, major gifts, and grant reporting would be an advantage.

  • Mature, meticulous and an efficient and motivated self-starter.

  • Excellent language skills in English and Chinese, verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in computer, website, digital and social media applications.

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to network, build relations and develop loyalty among corporate, school and individual donors.

  • Highly adaptable, flexible with a high degree of personal initiative and drive with an innovative and creative mindset.

Project Officer (B)

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the administrative duties and logistics of fundraising initiatives, from on-ground events to online activities. Achievement focused, working towards targets.

  • To evaluate, engage, and work with business partners, such as production houses, agencies and vendors, to ensure acquisition of high quality of goods and services, and compliance with RMHC Hong Kong’s internal policies.

  • To support fundraising events from planning to execution, including campaign launches, draft appeals, speeches, press releases, features and correspondences.

  • To manage the donor stewardship cycle by ensuring donation and/or gifts are acknowledged in a timely and personal manner. Arranging prospect and donor visits, events and tours.

  • To work with the Managers in DEV Dept, providing support at fundraising events and for fundraising projects as required with the aim of enhancing the leadership giving program.

  • To coordinate with internal and external parties and provide high quality engagement and customer services to partners, donors, and participants, under the supervision and support of your line manager.

  • To assist the preparation of proposals, reports, presentation PowerPoint files, promotional contents, and various publicity materials that effectively motivate positive actions from donors or potential partners.

  • To handle donor enquiry and manage the Donor Relationship Management (DRM) system. Ensure complete, accurate, and timely updates of donor information in the system.

  • Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

House Service & Program Officer (Shatin House)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily house operations, including family check-ins/outs, guest assistance, meetings, and activities.

  • Coordinate daily maintenance with Facilities Management Team.

  • Provide administrative support such as record keeping, filing, procurement, inventory management, and scheduling.

  • Assist in preparing and delivering programs and activities (e.g., wellness sessions, family retreats, Joy Days).

  • Coordinate logistics, materials, program rundown, and venue setup for programs and activities.

  • Collect data, conduct surveys, and assist with program evaluation and donor reporting.

  • As a key member of the team, to support the team and the overall organization for success while providing Support volunteer engagement during programs and activities.

  • Provide stories, photos, and updates to the Communications Team for program sharing and impact stories.

  • Uphold RMHC HK’s standards of safety, hospitality, and family-centered service.

Requirements

  • Diploma holder or above preferred, with relevant experience in social service, hospitality, community work, or program coordination.

  • Experience in family facility operations, administrative support, or coordination work is an advantage.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage comfortably with families, volunteers, and stakeholders.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work as a team.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and simple data entry.

  • Willing to work on weekends or evenings when programs or house needs arise.
