Manager, Volunteer Engagement / Assistant Manager, Volunteer Engagement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end journey for corporate volunteers, ensuring high satisfactory experience.

  • Work closely with the Fundraising team, actively identify pitching opportunities to convert or re-engage to drive cash donations or in-kind donations.

  • Help identify service gaps, provide and create high-quality workshops or programs that attract corporate interest and funding.

  • Build and expand partnerships with universities and external institutions for volunteer programs, internships, and potential sponsorships.

  • Manage and enhance the Volunteer Management System (VMS) to track engagement levels and identify donor potential.

  • Collaborate with teams to optimize volunteer resources.

  • Lead and support VIP visits, outings, and large-scale community programs, including working on weekends as required.

  • Other duties assigned by Supervisors.

Requirements:

  • A social worker degree is a plus.

  • Passionate about working in NGO sector and making impact on families.

  • A degree holder with a minimum of eight years’ relevant work experience, preferably in NGOs, schools, or international charity sector.

  • Eager to run program workshops and events, and to lead children’s groups.

  • Experience in Fundraising, Corporate Partnerships or CSR program management is a plus.

  • Self-motivation, hard-working and strong interpersonal skills.

  • A team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing.

  • Candidates with less experience might be considered as Assistant Manager.
