The eMPF Platform Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) responsible for overseeing the design, development and operation of the eMPF Platform. The eMPF Platform is a major public utility which aims to standardize, streamline and automate the existing MPF scheme administration processes. It is the most significant reform of the MPF System since its introduction in December 2000.

Senior Director (Job reference no.: eMPF001/2026)

The eMPF Platform Company Limited (eMPF Company) is looking for a Senior Director to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this key role will oversee the smooth daily operations of eMPF Company and supervise the Core Contractor’s operations of the eMPF Platform (eMPF) with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure a smooth operation of eMPF by providing stewardship in the collaboration among various departments of eMPF Company to monitor operating performance of the Core Contractor including its fulfilment of obligations under contract and agreements, and its compliance with the regulatory requirements and Operating Rules;

  • Support new directives and policies from MPFA and Government and to continuously enhance the operating model and relevant operation and IT system functions for better services and efficiency;

  • Oversee the Core Contractor’s execution of the marketing campaign, publicity, and education programmes for eMPF;

  • Facilitate communication with key stakeholders in supporting the marketing campaign for promoting digital take-up of eMPF;

  • Oversee the planning and coordination of other corporate activities and ensure eMPF’s compliance with the MPFA Regulatory Oversight Framework; and

  • Direct and oversee the preparation of eMPF’s annual budget and work plan and other regular reporting to eMPF Company’s Board of Directors, the MPFA and other stakeholders.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Commitment and passion to work for the best interests of the working population in their retirement protection;

  • Substantial experience in operational/regulatory compliance, risk management and/or resources management;

  • A good understanding of the MPF System; knowledge of/experience in trustees operations / retirement schemes administration is highly preferred;

  • Proven track record in managing vendors for outsourced services;

  • Business driven and forward looking with an ability to anticipate problems and take pre- emptive actions;

  • Agile to work in a dynamic environment, with outstanding problem solving and decision making skills;

  • A strong collaborator with an ability to build trusting relationship across different stakeholders;

  • Capability to articulate complex issues/ideas clearly and persuasively; and

  • A recognized degree or equivalent.

Remuneration Package

A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered. The appointment will be made on a three-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
