Trainee (Greater Bay Area)

As a participating company in “Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme” (GBAYES) organized by HKSAR Government, Chong Hing Bank is looking for young talents who would like to pursue their career in selected stream through joining this Scheme as Trainee (Greater Bay Area) (“Trainee”) with on-the-job training and working experience gained in the Mainland cities of Greater Bay Areas.  

Within the 18-month program, the Trainee will undergo function specific training with exposure and experience gained in the assigned GBA Mainland cities for at least 12 months in accordance with the Scheme requirements.  Upon successful completion of the 18-month program (subject to post-program evaluation), the Trainee will be offered relevant role within the designated Division for ongoing development and contribution to the Bank.

Position for Application: We are offering the Trainee positions under Personal Banking. The Trainee will gain valuable exposure not only in the field but also attachment to GBA Mainland cities, enables the Trainee to acquire professional knowledge and experience for getting prepared to take up challenge in the exciting banking industry. 

Streams with Job Summary:

Personal Banking

  • As one of the communication channels between Hong Kong and Mainland branches to identify potential customer referral for new account onboarding in Hong Kong

  • Assist Cross-border team to arrange meetings or business activities with Mainland colleagues and business partners for relationship building

  • Provide marketing, administrative support and other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Hong Kong residents who are legally employable in Hong Kong with the holder of associate degree or above, preferably in Business Administration or Information Technology related disciplines

  • With working experience in banking or financial industry would be of added advantage

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Passionate, self-motivated and good team player

  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
