Specialist, Business Insights
Job Summary
As a Specialist, Business Insights, you will collaborate closely with various teams within Commercial department to support their data needs. Your core responsibility is to transform commercial data into actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance commercial performance. You will design, develop, and manage dashboards and reports, ensuring that data is presented clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner to empower informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Creation and Reporting
Develop and manage performance dashboards for the Commercial team, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
Develop reports and presentations that are concise, easy to understand, and effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Market Research, Competitive Analysis and Customer Insights
Analyse historical data to support decision making and assist to form recommendation on commercial strategy. Propose and evaluate actions to improve commercial performance.
Conduct market landscape research including competitive analysis, desktop research and benchmarking exercises.
Database Management and Maintenance
Work closely with Data Analytics team and support the formulation of data structure.
Support data extraction and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
Propose improvements to database functionality, such as automation, data integration, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
Data Analysis and Insights Generation
Analyze performance data, including sales figures, flown performance data, and market trends, to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for revenue growth.
Utilize statistical techniques and data mining methodologies to extract actionable insights from large datasets, translating complex data into clear and concise recommendations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Degree holder in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economic, Finance, Accounting or other quantitative discipline
Prior working experience in quantitative or data analysis is preferable. Fresh graduates are welcome.
Demonstrate aptitude for logical analysis, analytical mind, problem identification, and problem solving.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Adaptable, quick learner, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and across teams
Skilled in project management, able to prioritize and deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience with data visualization tools (Data Studio, Tableau) and programming (SQL, Python, Google Cloud) is preferred.
Good command of English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred

Officer, Store and Logistics
STORE
Maintain receive, storage, and issue functions of the warehouse
Perform stock-related duties, including material returns, packaging, binning, paperwork preparations and labelling, etc.
Store environment monitoring, ensure the store is kept clean and organized
Ensure proper record keeping for all related documentation such as ARC, workshop reports, etc.
Carry out regular stock take
Support store inspector for receiving inspection functions
Monitor material shelf-life
Coordinate with internal parties to arrange stock move between facilities
Ensure transactions have been properly input in the MIS system
LOGISTIC
Handle import and export shipments
Source and select appropriate forwarder for shipments
Maintain proper shipment tracking records and documentations
Apply related licenses from HKGOV for import / export if required
Coordinate with service providers & internal parties to arrange material deliveries
Ensure transactions have been properly input in the MIS system
Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by management
The Ideal Candidate
Higher diploma or above qualification in Supply Chain & Logistic Management or any related disciplines
Minimum 1 year of related working experience in aircraft materials handling, store operation or shipping & logistic is preferrable
Excellent analytical mind and stress resistant
Willingness to work in variable shift duty as assigned
Knowledge of IATA DG regulations is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties
Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
Basic Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs
Possess Class 2 HKG driving license is preferable
