Specialist, Visitor Services (Visitor Centre)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
As an ambassador at the forefront, you will engage with visitors across our service centres to handle visitors enquiries to showcase the charm of the city and enrich visitors’ travel experience. You will also provide personalised assistance through various non-physical channels, including hotline, email, and live chat, ensuring comprehensive service to all visitors.
Curating tailored itinerary to visitors from around the world. You may also have a chance to give VIP tours to create a fruitful journey with lasting memory for travellers.
Collaborating with other departments in support of HKTB organized events such as Wine & Dine Festival and New Year Count Down Celebrations, you will provide constructive insights to other departments based on frontline experience and knowledge on customer needs.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Graduates from universities or tertiary institutions preferably with at least 2-3 years of experience that proves your competencies to excel in the service industry such as service centre/ concierge/ retail outlet operations
Fresh graduates are also welcome
A confident communicator in English, Cantonese and Mandarin; Command of a foreign language such as Japanese, Korean, French or German will be an advantage
A cheerful and energetic people person, who love to explore and share in your free time
A proactive team player with an open mind and exceptional customer service mindset and skills
Driven by a sense of fulfilment, willing to work on weekends & public holidays, also under adverse weather to maintain service operation if required

Empower trade partners with excellence: Deliver top-tier support to trade partners subscribed to the HKTB Concierge Hotline by providing vital information and assistance to their frontline teams. Plus, play a key role in recruiting new partners such as hotels, attractions, and major shopping malls to join our network.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University degree holder with 3 years’ relevant working experience in customer service is preferred; complaint handling experience is a plus.
Strong written English and Chinese skills.
Proficiency in spoken English and Mandarin.
Highly customer oriented, self-motivated and attentive to details.
Strong inter-personal and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work under adverse weather and take up shift duties.
Candidates with less experience may consider for the Specialist position.

Senior Executive, Event & Product Development (Sports & Neighbourhood, 2-year Renewable Contract)

In line with the HKTB strategy plan, assist the Director & Manager, EPD to review and formulate tourism products and third-party events promotion strategy
Assist in developing, organising and co-ordinating marketing campaigns to maximise awareness of events and products. Support the development of operation plans and administer all related process and logistics in accordance with corporate policy
Establish and maintain good relationship with external parties and internal departments on the promotion of events and tourism products
Monitor and keep abreast of the latest progress of tourism related developments and update different functional teams in a timely manner in preparation of the overall strategic planning
Manage HKTB databases and website to provide effective and efficient channels to promote events and products
Prepare write up for events and perform administrative support to the team
Handle enquiries and/or complaints in a professional and efficient manner
Undertake any other duties / special assignments as directed by the supervisors
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University graduate with minimum of 3 years of relevant working experiences in attractions marketing / events marketing & promotion / event-related operations / public relations account servicing is preferred
Good knowledge/ experience in sports, tourism industry or working with Government Department will be an advantage
Creative and resourceful connection with local community, NGOs, national and community sports organisations
Self-starter with good presentation, communication and organisation skills
Able to work independently, handle multi-tasks, set priorities and attend to details
Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)
Proficiency in PC applications – MS Office, Chinese Word Processing

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Assist in developing reliable and powerful trade communication tools that support trade services and activities in head office and overseas offices
Support the ongoing development and daily operation of PartnerNet, HKTB’s B2B trade website as a one-stop platform to provide trade partners with up-to-date information on Hong Kong as a preferred travel destination, and create business opportunities for them
Monitor and analyse the marketing effectiveness of our platforms to optimise content and elevate stakeholders’ experience and satisfaction level
Support the revamp of Hong Kong Specialist online training programme to drive usage and facilitate overseas offices to better engage their trade partners via this platform
Define, plan and develop new features and content on our B2B websites to ensure content is up-to-dated and new services can be channelled to relevant business partners
Initiate creative and user-friendly e-blasts and e-newsletter templates to ensure proactive communication with various levels of stakeholders
Support the promotion of PartnerNet and the HK Specialist programme to Hong Kong travel trade and overseas markets to drive usage via working closely with internal and external parties to enhance the programme effectiveness and expand the subscription base
Assist in preparing and standardising departmental internal and external communication materials such as circulars, reports, e-News, presentations, etc.
Ensure all procurement and production procedures are cost effective and on par with HKTB’s policies
Compile management reports on a regular and timely manner, and conduct web analysis and usability study across key markets in relation to competitive portals
Undertake any other duties/ ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisors
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University degree holder in Marketing/ Business Administration and E-commerce is preferred
5 years or above solid experience in marketing communications, website management and content development are preferrable
Experience in travel trade and destination marketing is a definite advantage
Sound knowledge of internet-related technologies and applications
Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
Attentive to details with strong project management skills
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently and under pressure
