Sales Account Manager - Trade
Responsibilities:
Deliver incremental agency revenue for Air Canada in Hong Kong, and exceed Air Canada’s fair market share in the agency channel.
Design agency fare products and manage fare utilization in the light of market intelligence to support Air Canada’s overall commercial objectives.
Fund out Future: Design, negotiate and manage the ongoing performance of agency incentive schemes, exceeding revenue targets within cost of sales budgets.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of agency incentive schemes, including Finance, Sales Planning, Legal and Tax.
Roll out ‘fit-for-purpose’ tactical incentives in response to an agile and rapidly evolving external market.
Reach New Frontiers: increase Air Canada’s reach with enriched content and products through local and global agency partners and/or Travel Management Companies (TMCs).
Launch NDC in the market and increase NDC revenue and adoption.
Provide training and support to the travel trade in the NDC rollout.
Provide timely market intelligence to local sales and Revenue Management in the form of quantitative analyses (pricing and fares competitiveness), and qualitative market feedback.
Elevate Customer Experience: Conduct regular customer surveys with the travel trade to identify areas for improvement with sales support and the contact centre.
Host agency training seminars and regular engagement activities with the entire travel trade.
Increase completions of Air Canada’s training program for the travel trade: ACU (Air Canada University)
Represent Air Canada in the local trade bodies, including the Agency Program Joint Council (APJC) & Local Customer Advisory Group (LCAG)
Key success metrics: agency revenue, agency market share, cost of sales, NDC adoption rate, NDC revenue, ACU completions
Qualifications:
University degree in any discipline (Essential)
Consultative sales experience in any industry (Essential)
Bilingual –English and Cantonese to native level of fluency, with a high level of proficiency in written English (Essential).
High level of autonomy and ability to collaborate with colleagues remotely and virtually (Essential)
Willingness to work across different time zones, and to attend meetings during after office hours occasionally (Essential)
Willingness to travel regionally and to Canada
Effective team player: empathetic and understanding of the needs of other stakeholders and team members.

Sales Account Manager - Digital
Responsibilities:
Develop a holistic strategy for Air Canada across our three main online sales channels in Hong Kong and South-East Asia: Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), metasearch platforms (metas), and Air Canada’s official website.
Act as the central conduit between our local partners, local sales teams and our HQ Global OTA team, Product and Distribution teams, Routes Marketing and Pricing teams to develop and implement a holistic strategy for the OTA, metasearch engines and competitive content on Air Canada’s official website
Online Travel Agencies (OTAs): Develop account plans for regional online travel agencies across different markets in Asia Pacific:
Lead regional contract negotiation between Air Canada and implementation of sales and marketing activities, in close collaboration with our Global OTA team
Develop and negotiate distributor’s incentive plans to maximize market share
Exploit their database of customers who do not currently fly with Air Canada through targeted marketing tactics
Ensure OTA compliance with Air Canada’s redistribution policies
Coordination of multi-market/global Marketing activities, within the assigned OTA portfolio, as they relate to B2C programmes, inclusive of pricing and advertising
Air Canada’s official website: Ensure that Air Canada’s official website offers competitive content in line with our distribution strategy, in close collaboration with our INTL Routes marketing team to execute tactical campaigns on Air Canada’s official website
Metasearch engines (Metas):
Work with global Product and Distribution teams to initiate campaigns to increase Air Canada’s presence on metasearch platforms
Optimize offer delivery: ensure that Air Canada’s offers are delivered accurately on metasearch engines in a timely manner, in line with Air Canada’s distribution policies
Maintain high quality content: ensure accurate and detailed information about flights, pricing and services are provided to attract and retain customers
Monitor Competitor Activities: Keep a close eye on competitors and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly. This includes understanding our competitors’ strategies on different metasearch platforms, and finding ways to differentiate our offerings
Provide timely market feedback on Air Canada’s content competitiveness across all three online channels, to relevant departments for prompt actions to minimize market share losses
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the airline industry with expertise in Sales, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and/or Revenue Management; A solid understanding of airlines economics and firm understanding of economic and business principles required
Flexibility to participate in out of hours meetings, activities and overseas travel
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to analyze complex data
Ability to think in a logical, structured manner to solve problems
Capable of structuring comprehensive, logical analysis with minimum supervision

Human Resources Advisor
Responsibilities:
As primary contact person, for people leaders and employees, provides guidance and expertise on the interpretation and implementation of human resources processes, programs, and policies in alignment with corporate goals and employment legislation.
Supports the implementation and maintenance of various HR initiatives including compensation programs, talent management, performance management, and the interpretation and consultation of various assessment related tools.
Provides Managers with tools, information, and guidance to address employee issues in a consistent, equitable manner.
Implements specific HR programs in accordance with the needs of the branch and corporate expectations.
Contributes to the development of HR metrics and monitors such to understand and act on trends.
Provides support and guidance to their respective branches (in partnership with their HRM) in the organizational restructuring process including the development of job descriptions, compensation review and terminations.
Develops and maintains productive and collaborative relationships throughout the business; demonstrates empathy, professional credibility, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:
