For the School Year 2026-27, VSA is inviting applications for the following position(s):

1. PYP Associate Teacher (Fluent English Speaking)

2. PYP Temporary Associate Teacher (Fluent Mandarin Speaking) (Contract Period will be from mid-August 2026 to mid-December 2026 or from mid-October 2026 to mid-February 2027)

3. PYP Support (Shadow) Teacher (Contract period will be from 20 August 2026 to 25 June 2027)

1. PYP Associate Teacher (Fluent English Speaking)

Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified Teacher or part-time PGDE student

  • Interested in gaining IB/PYP experience

  • A commitment to student centred inquiry based learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers and students in primary classes (6-11 years old)

  • Work with small group of students

  • Cover classes where appropriate

2. PYP Temporary Associate Teacher (Fluent Mandarin Speaking) (Contract Period will be from mid-August 2026 to mid-December 2026 or from mid-October 2026 to mid-February 2027)

Requirements:

3. PYP Support (Shadow) Teacher (Contract period will be from 20 August 2026 to 25 June 2027)

  • ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) experience required.

  • Experience working with children with special needs required.

  • To provide direct support for individual students by adapting or modifying the curriculum and assessment

  • To work with students individually or in small groups to focus on academic or learning needs of students either within the classroom or outside for specific skill development.

  • To maintain timely communication with class teachers, Student Support Services and parents

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin is preferred.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and carry out necessary administrative tasks.

  • Familiarity with IB PYP preferred.

1. Administrative Officer (ASA)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Teachers-in-charge overseeing the operation of the After School Activities (ASA) and the school teams (sports and non-sports)

  • Liaise and follow up with the various departments the process of sign-up, venue booking, fee collection and confirmation with parents

  • Maintain and updates records of all the activities, including student lists, instructors/ coaches and organizations information

  • Coordinate the logistics of school teams practices, performance and competitions

  •  Saturday shifts and occasional weekend competition coverage, scheduled on a rotational basis with the ASA team (eligible for time off in lieu)

  • Support school events during the academic year and performs any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in administration, sports management or related field 

  • Experience in school administration an advantage

  • Very strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)

  • Strong proficiency in PC skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace and Chinese word processing

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, team-player who is flexible and collaborative

  • Motivated, efficient and strong sense of responsibility
     

2. Administrative Officer  (IB PD / Admin)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register teachers for external Professional Development, including IB PYP/MYP and DP staff development conferences and workshops, ensuring the appropriate documentation has been completed on BlueSky and internal forms

  • Liaise with external providers for hotel accommodation and flights

  • Upload all receipts and invoice for payment, liaise with procurement to ensure timely reimbursement

  • Support with logistics for any internal Professional Development, including catering, transportation, facilities, etc as necessary

  • Support the translation of documents for CPLT, including portal announcements

  • Communication with parents and students regarding course changes (MYP and DP)

  • Support school events during the academic year and performs any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A degree or an equivalent in Business Administration or related fields

  • At least 3 years solid experience in administrative duties

  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)

  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills with customer-oriented mindset

  • Experience in school settings especially IB schools an advantage

3. Enrolled / Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

  • Alerts Principals, teachers and parents of any contiguous cases in school and provides professional advice on precautionary measures

  • Liaises with CHP regarding immunizations, contagious diseases and school guidelines

  • Provides appropriate first aid and nursing care to students and staff

  • Monitors and maintains first aid supplies for the medical room

  • Maintains and updates students’ health record

  • Arranges insurance claim for students and follow up sick/injured students’ condition

  • Saturday shifts and occasional overnight school camp coverage, scheduled on a rotational basis with nurse team (eligible for time off in lieu)

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year nursing experience, preferably with school and acute hospital experience

  • Holder of valid Practicing Certificate from the Nursing Council of Hong Kong

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)

  • Pleasant, patient and caring personality

  • Demonstrates organizational and crisis management skills, with the ability to multi-task and work under stressful conditions
