Media Relations Officer

The role:

  • Maintain close relationships with members of the media sector

  • Monitor public sentiment through various channels

  • Explore media story opportunities through active communication with internal stakeholders

  • Prepare and coordinate media related matters, such as press release and arranging press conference

  • Disseminate the company’s message to the public with a consistent theme

  • Provide copywriting for corporate communications materials such as newsletters, speech, annual reports and other promotional publicity

  • Be on duty during typhoons and special traffic arrangements to inform the media and related government departments on the latest service updates

  • Support supervisors as required

Skills and attributes:

  •  Bachelor degree in Journalism, Communications, or related discipline

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in Public Relations/Communication or related industry, experiences from the news industry will be advantageous

  • Good command of Chinese and English, both written and spoken, including proof reading

  • Creativity in story telling

  • Good event management and organisational skills

  • Graphics design and photography will be an advantage

 

Human Resources Officer – C&B Focus (1-year Contract)

(1-year Contract)

The role:

  • Responsible for full spectrum of C&B operations including but not limited to payroll calculation, pension administration, taxation, and leave management

  • Respond to C&B related queries from employees and managers promptly and professionally

  • Manage the full employee life cycle after onboarding to offboarding, including but not limited to promotions, transfers, and exit interviews & clearances

  • Compile various HR reports, statistics and analysis

  • Handle ad hoc HR projects as required

Skills and attributes:

  • Degree holder with at least 3 years’ experience in Human Resources

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Excel)

  • Well verse of Employment Ordinance and related regulations

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Fresh graduates are also welcome, candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Human Resources Officer or Human Resources Assistant

  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
