Website UI/UX Designer (4‑Month Contract)

About the role

S.K.H. St. Benedict's School is a Christian secondary school committed to whole-person education. We are seeking a talented, dedicated UI/UX Designer to join our team on a short-term contract to strengthen our digital presence and enhance the user experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • End-to-end website development: Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications.

  • Interface Design: Create intuitive, engaging user interfaces for mobile (iOS & Android) and web platforms.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with multiple school departments to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant design solutions.

  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop rapid prototypes, validate concepts with stakeholders, and refine designs based on feedback.

  • Quality Delivery: Ensure all project outputs meet high standards within tight timelines.

About you:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Interaction Design, Web Design, Multimedia, Design Strategies/Services, or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 3 years of solid, hands-on experience in UX/UI web design.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.

  • Skilled in creating wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and responsive layouts. Strong grasp of usability, accessibility, and user-centred design principles.

  • Highly responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Cantonese is mandatory. Bilingual (Chinese/English) design experience is an advantage.

Terms

Initial appointment: Fixed‑term 4‑month contract.

Renewal: Subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and funding availability.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
