Sales Executive - Travel Trade & MICE

Job Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain hotel Travel Trade & MICE business

  • Organize and direct overall sales activities to achieve sales volume and profits targets

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize sales margins and exposure, increase market penetration by various channels

  • Analyse customer and competition situations, generate action plans to expand market share

  • Provide market intelligence on economic trends and competitor activities

  • Performs ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma holder in Hospitality Management preferred

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in similar capacity

  • Good knowledge of market trend research and market intelligence

  • Proactive, capable of developing & implementing sales action plans and explore business opportunities

  • Ambitious, result-oriented with strong business sense

  • Mature, independent and self-motivated with strong leadership skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills and a team player approach

Human Resources Officer

Job Description:

  • Provide support in Human Resources functions including but not limit to Recruitment, Payroll preparation, C&B administration, and HRIS

  • Manage and maintain the staff information and records in the HR system

  • Compile HR related statistics and reports;

  • Assist in staff relations activities

  • Ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma holder in Human Resources or Hospitality Management.

  • 2-3 years solid experience in hotel industry, preferably in Human Resources functions.

  • Well-versed in Employment Ordinance

  • Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Responsible, able to work independently and under pressure

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Hands-on experience of HRIS, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing

Chef de Partie/Demi Chef 高/中級廚師 - Harbour Grand Cafe咖啡廳 (通宵)

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the quality of food in his/her section as assigned by the Executive Sous Chef will, at all times be maintained to the standards set in the Standard Operating Procedures.

  • To be responsible for maintaining the quality of food, planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in cooking, preparing food and cleaning of the outlet kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality industry, peferrably in a reputable hotel or sizeable service organization; Western restaurant production and fine dining experience preferred

  • Must possess good knowledge of food and cooking styles

Senior / Catering Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the event logistics from sales till the completion of the event

  • Responsible for providing latest market intelligence and competitor activities

  • Promote varieties of functions in the hotel to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue

  • Conduct sales calls, entertainment and attending social events as requested by the Company

  • Recognize the needs for new and modified function / event approaches

  • Achieve monthly and annual assigned sales target

Requirements:

  • Holder of Advance Diploma or above in Hospitality, Event Management or related disciplines

  • Minimum 3 years of Catering and Event sales experience in hospitality industry

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good sense of market trend and strong negotiation skills

  • Proactive, innovative, mature and goal oriented

  • Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin

  • More experience will be considered as Senior Catering Sales Manager

Headwaiter / Headwaitress (Host / Hostess) - Harbour Grand Cafe

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome arriving guests and bid farewell to departing guests;

  • Handle all reservations and inquiries and update of reservation system;

  • Prepare restaurant seating plan and tables assignment;

  • Responsible for the outlet's daily shift operations and supervision of staff;

  • To provide training and improve the competencies and skills of team to meet and exceed guests' satisfaction;

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Excellent command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Neat, pleasant and well groomed appearance

  • With relevant experience is highly preferred
