The Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a charitable organisation established to leverage the economic growth opportunities presented by the Greater Bay Area initiative. Guided by our mission, “For Our Youth, For Our Future,” we aim to promote exchanges and support Hong Kong youth in their studies, careers, and entrepreneurial endeavours in the Greater Bay Area.
Officer / Senior Officer
Work location: Sham Shui Po
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute quality year-round activities for the Centre, including events, seminars, and exchange tours
Prepare regular activity reports for review on KPIs
Develop promotional materials, both online and offline, for communication with the target audience
Handle external enquiries, including facilities and events booking
Liaise with external parties for the effective management of the Centre
Assist in any ad-hoc duties when required
Requirements:
Degree holders
At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in event management, marketing communications, or public relations
Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of an Officer
Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), both written and spoken
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A creative mindset, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign is a bonus
Willingness to work 84 hours every two weeks, including weekends and public holidays, on a roster basis
Points to note:
The successful candidate will be employed under a 31‑month contract.
If the appointee maintains consistently high work performance and conducts throughout the contract period to the Foundation’s satisfaction, he/she will be eligible for a gratuity payment upon completion of the contract. This gratuity will amount to 10% of the total basic salary earned during the contract period.
In accordance with the Employment Ordinance, the appointee is entitled to rest days, statutory holidays (or substitute holidays), annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, and sickness allowance, as applicable. Further details will be confirmed upon appointment.
The Centre operates 11 hours on weekdays and 12 hours on weekends and public holidays year-round without closure.
