Deputy Manager (Finance and Accounts)
Reporting to Manager (Finance and Accounts) and leading the Finance and Accounts function of head office, support out network of 19 clinics and fundraising & charitable activities.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Finance & Accounts team to ensure the timeliness and quality output;
Manage the financial control, cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash management, taxation, consolidation, compliance, and month-end and year-end closing process;
Proactively identify and drive improvement of financial systems and processes, particularly in fundraising and charitable activities, to improve operational efficiency and strengthen compliance;
Develop and execute finance & accounting strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines;
Identify and implement improvements across operational finance processes;
Provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management;
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations;
Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders;
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and the Board.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;
Qualified / Chartered accountant, or equivalent from professional accounting institutions;
At least 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years at managerial level in sizeable organisations; experience in sizeable NGO would be an advantage;
Solid knowledge in accounting rules and regulations;
Sound financial insight and strong analytical mind;
Able to multi-task with strong leadership, planning and organizational skills;
Possess initiative and strong work ethics with the ability to work efficiently in a team;
Able to work under pressure, good interpersonal and communication skills;
Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
