Content Editor

Your New Role:

ViuTV is looking for a Social Content Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and curating engaging and informative social media content across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Threads and YouTube. The Content Editor will also be responsible for collaborating with internal teams to ensure that ViuTV's social media channels are aligned with the brand's overall messaging and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Produce and curate engaging and informative social media content across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, programming, and production, to ensure that social media content is aligned with the brand's overall messaging and objectives
Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner
Analyze social media data and use insights to optimize content and improve engagement
Keep up-to-date with social media trends and best practices and incorporate them into ViuTV's social media strategy
Work with the Social Manager to develop and execute social media campaigns to promote ViuTV's shows and brand
Manage social media content calendars and ensure that all content is posted in a timely and accurate manner

What Makes You Succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or content creation, preferably in the media or entertainment industry
Strong writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese
Experience in video production, copywriting, and graphic design
Knowledge of social media analytics and tools, including Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and other social monitoring tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Passion for the media and entertainment industry and staying up-to-date with the latest trend
