Shell Graduate Programme 2024 - Hong Kong

The Network Planner will directly report to the Network Delivery Manager and work alongside Network Engineering and Real Estate functions to deliver on network development projects in Hong Kong and Macau. Primary duties include:-

  • Formulation of long-term business development strategies and capital investment plans for development of the Shell Retail network

  • Development and utilization of suitable business economics/ valuation models to explore and evaluate new commercial opportunities   

  • Preparation of world-class investment proposals supporting the agile delivery of new initiatives and customer value propositions

  • Ownership of project delivery and post-investment review process to ensure successful implementation of investment initiatives via close collaborations with Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Safety functions

  • Maintaining an external view on the market & competition; identifying trends, gaps & opportunities for growth within the energy transition

To be eligible for the Shell Graduate Programme:

  • You are required to have graduated prior to your first day at Shell

  • Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Engineering/ Economics with CPA / CFA designations a plus

  • Strong commercial mindset, highly numerate, and able to appraise the business opportunity efficiently and effectively and understand potential value, risks, and trade-offs

  • Experience in economic analysis and evaluation with a curiosity to explore problems beyond just the task given

  • Experience in all Microsoft office packages (In particular, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and business partnering skills
