ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 行政助理 (Our Ref. 25HR04-AA)

Monthly salary $18,500 – $19,500

Location: Causeway Bay

Job brief:  

  • To assist the Association in organizing sports events/programmes;

  • To undertake administrative and clerical duties;

  • To maintain proper filing and accounting records;

  • To provide secretarial support;

  • To attend regular meetings;

  • To perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills:

  • An accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong, or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent (Hong Kong Qualifications Framework QF4);

  • One year of experience in administration and/or event organizing.

Remarks:

  • This post is partially subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

  • The appointee shall be required to work on irregular hours or other locations if needed, i.e., he/she may be required to work on public holidays, outdoors or abroad.

  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Sports Executive 體育幹事 (Our Ref. 25HR03-SE)

Monthly salary HK$28,507

Location: Causeway Bay

Job brief

  • Report to the Board of Directors and direct supervisor;

  • Managing any assigned responsibilities of the Association, including but not limited to organizing events and supervising junior staff;

  • Preparing annual activity plans and regular reports, liaising with relevant government departments, local and overseas organizations for business development;

  • Coordinate with designers and agency partners on videography, photography productions, website development and maintenance;

  • Attending regular meetings;

  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.

Requirements and skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/an Advanced Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong, or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent (Hong Kong Qualifications Framework QF5)

  • Preference will be given to the candidate with working experience in event management or marketing;

  • Time management and organization skills to plan and execute both large and small projects and initiatives;

  • Being able to speak fluent Cantonese, a good command of English would be a strong asset, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable;

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook;

  • To work proactively with any interest groups and the government departments, helping with various tasks as required.

  • Four years of experience in administration and/or event organizing.

Assistant Sports Executive 助理體育幹事 (Our Ref. 25HR02-ASE)

Monthly salary HK$22,606 - $23,906

Location: Causeway Bay

Job brief:

  • Report to the Board of Directors and direct supervisors;

  • Organize local/overseas activities including but not limited to training, competition, fun day, and exchange programme; prepare regular reports, maintain proper filing, liaise with relevant government departments and organizations for the relevant matters;

  • Provide secretarial support to the office-bearers and executives of the Association;

  • Performing administrative tasks, conducting market research, updating databases, and writing content for the  company's social media site and web page;

  • Attending regular meetings; 

  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties.

Requirements and skills:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/an Advanced Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong, or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent (Hong Kong Qualifications Framework QF5)

  • Obtained qualification not lower than the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) – Level II Book Keeping & Accounts; or equivalent to handle accounting matters is preferable;

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable;

  • Preference will be given to the candidate with 2 years of experience in administration and/or event organizing in the sports sector or NGOs;

  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;

  • To work proactively with any interest groups and government departments to help with various required tasks.

  • 2 years of experience in administration and/or event organizing.

  • This post is partially subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department at the rank of Administrative  Assistant plus top-up allowance from the Association;

  • The appointee shall be required to work on irregular hours or other locations if needed, i.e., he/she may be required to work on public holidays, outdoors or abroad;
