Hong Kong China Softball Association (HKCSA) is seeking a responsible and motivated person in the following post:

Assistant Sports Executive / Sports Executive

Salary: HKD18,134 – 28,507

Job Description:

  • Organize and manage local competitions, fixtures and results.

  • Organize local and overseas training and competitions for the Hong Kong China Teams.

  • Prepare budgets, annual plans and regular reports.

  • Coordinate and communicate with teams, officials, coaches and committees.

  • Liaise with Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI), and other stakeholders.

  • Handle membership registrations and updates.

  • Manage team equipment and related administration.

  • Assist in managing, developing, and publish engaging content for the Association’s website and social media channels.

  • Provide administrative support for HKCSA events and Executive Council meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and the Executive Council.

Requirements:

  • Grade E / Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including English (Syllabus B) and Chinese in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or Level 2 or above in five subjects including English and Chinese in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), or equivalent. * Remark: Grade C in English Language (Syllabus A) is recognized as equivalent to Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B).

  • An accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience is preferred, particularly in the sports industry.

  • Knowledge of LCSD subvention requirements.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and outgoing.

  • Able to handle multiple tasks independently with attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of website management, design tools, and social media is an advantage.

  • Good command of English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred.

  • Flexible to work irregular hours, weekends, public holidays, and outdoors under pressure.

  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Sports Executive.

  • This post is subvented by LCSD.
