Accounting Officer (Ref No: HKCSS/008/2026)
One-year renewable contract
Responsibilities:
To handle full set of accounts, including daily accounting entries, monthly payroll and MPF contributions, annual budget, annual tax returns etc.
To handle month-end and year-end closing procedures and assist in preparing financial statements, management reports and audit schedules
To take part in annual and project audits, liaise with external auditors and funders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
To establish and maintain effective coordination and liaison with multi-stakeholders, such as bankers, service providers, government, funders etc.
To assist in overseeing a small team of accounting staff in daily operations
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines, ACCA/HKICPA Qualification Programme registered student/Finalist or equivalent
At least 7 years’ solid experience in Accounting within which 3 years should be at supervisory level, knowledge in full set of accounts is a must
Stable, self-motivated and willing to learn, well-organized, detail-minded with strong sense of responsibilities, good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in MS office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) is required
Actual experience in FlexSystem, AlphaHRM and procure-to-pay system will be an advantage
Effective communication in both written and oral English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience would be considered as Assistant Accounting Officer
5-day work per week. 21-day annual leave.
