Auction House Receptionist
About the role
The Receptionist at Sungari (HK) Company Limited serves as the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and auction participants, ensuring a professional and courteous front-of-house experience at all times. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative and operational support to facilitate the efficient functioning of the office and auction activities. Working within a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment, the Receptionist will coordinate closely with internal teams while upholding the company’s standards of service excellence. The position also offers valuable exposure to the art and auction industry, contributing to the organization's continued growth and reputation in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
· Greet and assist clients, visitors, and auction participants in a warm and professional manner.
· Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, ensuring timely responses and accurate information.
· Coordinate the scheduling of appointments, meetings, and viewings for clients.
· Oversee administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining client records.
· Ensure the reception area is clean, presentable, and welcoming at all times.
· Assist with visitor check-ins and registrations during auction events.
· Help with handling documentation and data entries related to auctions and events.
· Perform ad hoc assignments and other duties as required by the team.
Qualifications:
· Diploma holder or above.
· Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role; experience in an auction house or related industry is a plus.
· Strong proficiency in MS Office.
· Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
· Friendly, professional, and well-presented with a high level of customer service.
· Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
· Fluence Cantonese & English, fair Mandarin speaking
· 3-5 years experience.
