About Us

PMA Music Foundation (PMF) is a Hong Kong registered charity that harnesses the power of music to educate, entertain, and inspire. We are home to two flagship orchestras — the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong (MYO), one of Asia's finest youth orchestras with some 500 young musicians, and the True Colors Symphony (TCS), Hong Kong's largest all-inclusive orchestra advocating social inclusion through music.

Events Manager

The Role

We are looking for a passionate Events Manager to lead all events across the Group. From major orchestral concerts at premier Hong Kong venues to youth showcases, community performances, and social inclusion events for differently abled musicians, you will be the driving force behind every experience we create.

This is more than an events role — you will be a champion of our mission and a key representative of PMF to clients, partners, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of all events — orchestral concerts, ensemble showcases, community outreach, overseas exchanges, and crossover performances

  • Serve as primary representative on all events matters; liaise with clients, co-organisers, venues, sponsors, and government bodies

  • Develop event proposals, budgets, critical path schedules, logistics plans, and post-event evaluations

  • Contribute to events strategy and identify new partnership and platform opportunities

Who We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of events management experience in managerial role, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder events

  • Genuine passion for the arts, social inclusion, or community development — a heart for giving back

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure

  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required
