The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professional to join our Human Resources Development.
Assistant Manager, IP & Technology (until December 2025)
[Ref. No.: 3/18M/MTI4/HKTDC]
Responsibilities:
The appointee will report to the Section Head, IP & Technology of Merchandise Trade and Innovation (MTI) and will be responsible for organising marketing/promotional programs and activities including:
Oversee and execute promotional activities & networking events for different projects for IP & technology related industries in Hong Kong and overseas
Recruit Hong Kong exhibitors or delegates
Handle IP & technology-related promotional activities & the respective advisory committees
Liaise and coordinate with HKTDC mainland and overseas Branch Offices, external parties such as fair organisers, industry institutions, governments, associations and media, etc.
Understand business needs of all recruited participants and line up business matching appointments
Handle and supervise logistical issues such as delegates travel, venue setup and information preparation, etc.
Provide on-site support and other administrative support as and when necessary
Tasks assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
A recognised university degree with at least 5 years solid working experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in any of the following areas: trading; exhibition/event organisation; project management public/corporate relations; or network/relationship building, etc.
Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various Hong Kong industries, markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong companies
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Self-motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability
Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure
A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Mature with superior skills in marketing and communication
Sound industry knowledge in IP and technology related sector and previous experience in organising events and conferences will be an added advantage
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Manager, Service Promotion (Belt and Road Business Development) (5 months)

Responsibilities:
The appointee will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s marketing/promotional programs and activities for promoting Belt and Road Initiative and Greater Bay Area, including:
Oversee and execute promotional activities and ASEAN markets for different projects
Recruit Hong Kong and overseas speakers, sponsors, project owners, exhibitors and service providers
Manage the Belt and Road Portal, including upgrades and user engagement
Organise seminars / webinars, business delegations and other promotional events as assigned
Liaise and coordinate with HKTDC mainland and overseas Branch Offices, external parties such as government, industry institutions, associations and media, etc.
Handle and supervise the logistical issues such as delegates travel, venue setup and information preparation, etc.
Provide on-site support and other administrative support as and when necessary
Requirements:
A recognised university degree with at least 8 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations etc.
Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing (including social media and online marketing) and communication
Experience on managing internet platforms and engaging users
A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, willing to try new things, and outgoing with good project planning ability
Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure
Knowledge of corporate/project financing an added advantage
Candidates with less solid experience will be offered at Assistant Manager, Service Promotion

Senior Project Executive
[Ref. No.: 3/03/SPE/CEC/HKTDC]
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and project support to the HKCEC Affairs Department
Review, check and consolidate data and reports submitted by the operator, consultants and contractors
Review and prepare monthly budget update and other financial documents
Provide support for the operation of Google Looker system
Prepare PowerPoint presentation and meeting materials
Prepare summary tables in Excel format to facilitate data analysis
Assist in checking the conditions of the existing venues and facilities
Assist in random inspections of licensed events
Organise construction and as-built drawings and help digitize existing drawings and records
Maintain an effective hardcopy and electronic file management system
Requirements:
High Diploma holder or above with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in the building and construction industry
Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
Experience in using Photoshop, AutoCAD, data analytics platform such as Tableau and Google Looker would be an advantage
Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be offered.
