The Children’s Cancer Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for young patients and their families in caring for their physical, psychological and social well-being. To cope with our service development, we are now inviting passionate applicants join us in supporting and walking with young patients with medical complex conditions and their families at difficult times.

Registered Nurse

The Children's Cancer Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for young patients and their families by caring for their physical, psychological and social well-being. To cope with our service expansion, we would like to invite passionate applicants to join our dedicated team to support and walk with child patients with medical complex conditions and their families at difficult times.

Duties :

Provide palliative and end-of-life nursing care for children / adolescents with life-threatening and life-limiting illness and their families in the community
Work together with the healthcare teams in hospitals and join regular case conferences to provide children's palliative care services
Provide the Community Oncology Nursing Service to childhood cancer patients and nursing support for the Community Reintegration Programme
Collaborate and develop relationships with a wide range of healthcare workers, schools, agencies and other NGOs to provide a continuum of care services for patients and their families
Perform standby duties, work irregular hours to support families in need, and join activities organised by CCF in non-office hours at times
Provide outreach services in hospitals and community

Requirements :

A Certificate of Registration (Part I) holder with a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong
At least three years of post-qualification experience preferably in the areas of paediatrics
Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Passionate in serving paediatric patients with medical complex and palliation conditions and their families
