Marketing Officer 

The incumbent works closely with the Assistant Manager of the Fundraising and Communication Department to develop and promote monthly and one-off donation programmes to acquire new donors in the mass market to support the projects implemented in developing countries and the local community. 

PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns to promote monthly and one-off donation programmes to acquire new monthly/one-off donors via digital fundraising campaigns, TVC, telemarketing, DM, eDM, print ad and other communication channels.

  • Explore new partners/new channels /new ways to acquire leads, one-off and monthly donors.

  • Assist in engaging new/existing ambassadors to support fundraising campaigns and maintain good ambassador relations. 

  • Assist in conducting market and donor analysis for developing effective fundraising strategies. 

  • Working with the vendor to ensure the donation platform works smoothly and coordinating function enhancements. 

  • Prepare campaign evaluation reports for continuous improvement and planning.

  • Occasional travel to the field to collect resources for fundraising purposes and provide support in trip arrangements.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor  

Skills Required: 

  • Degree holder in Marketing or other related disciplines.

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in sales and marketing areas, preferably in NGO sectors

  • Strong knowledge and experience in online and offline marketing.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Chinese word processing, and proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphic software is preferable.
