Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Officer - Facilities Management (Ref.: IHL/2024/02), to commence as soon as possible, on a standard two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and the company’s contribution to the MPF scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
Senior Officer / Assistant Manager - Facilities Management

Work location: both Hong Kong Science Park and Kennedy Town Centre
Responsibilities
Provide advice and support to R&D Centres on facilities management and operations including but not limited to office, laboratory and MVAC maintenance
Coordinate laboratory safety and facilities management matters between HKSTP and R&D Centres
Act as the central point of contact and develop positive relationships with the landlord and the appointed Facility Management Office (FMO)
Manage contractual relationships and work with service contractor to ensure excellent service delivery; review and monitor performance in line with R&D Centres
Conduct regular facilities inspections, and provide recommendations on corrective and preventive plans
Respond to emergency incidents and conduct investigations
Provide support to safety issues when necessary
Handle operations-related administrative work and reports
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Facilities Management, Property Management/Building Service, Mechanical/Electrical
Engineering or other related disciplines, with at least 5 years of working experience in facilities management or building services. Candidates with more experience may be considered for the position of Assistant ManagerCandidates with 5 passes in HKCEE and a Certificate in a related discipline, and with at least 15 years of relevant work experience may also be considered for the position of Senior Officer
Good technical knowledge in facilities management systems, e.g. ELV system, O&M (BW, ACMV, Elect, FS), and MVAC, etc.
Class Electrical Worker qualification or possession of a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) highly preferred
Good understanding of local fire safety regulations, knowledge of occupational safety regulatory requirements and best technical practices
Highly independent in handling emergency measures
Excellent communication skills, and self-motivated
Proficient in computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
