Senior Manager/ Manager, Marketing

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Reports to Marketing Director, APAC

  • Communicates Targus’ corporate branding, positioning and product communication strategy to each country manger and work closely with regional marketing managers among APAC.

  • Manages corporate branding programs, PR agencies or freelance in yearly campaigns basis as well as social media, corporate website, digital strategy and CRM/database marketing programs.

  • Creates marketing collaterals and advertisements materials for own branding and various business units (distributors/business partners).

  • Coordinates and hosts Targus’ in-house press / trade events; works with internal or external parties for event organizations.

  • Develops channels / distributors alliance programs for pushing sell-in and sell-thru result with local sales team.  

  • Provides regular management reports to keep track of effectiveness of various sales-driven and marketing programs.

Essential qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience:

  • A proven track record as a leader in a marketing role in APAC (included but not limited to: China, HK, Taiwan, Philippines and ROA, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Thailand)

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years professional experience in branding, PR & events, CRM, online, retail/channel promotions, and co-brands campaigns in which 3 years should be at managerial level.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in both written and verbal English and Chinese the key.

  • Strong people and relationship management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Smart, mature, proactive, aggressive, goal-oriented and able to work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in both English, Chinese and Putonghua.  Additional knowledge in different languages among NEA or SEA is surely a big plus.

  • Immediately available is highly preferred.

  • Experience within tech, digital industry, exposure and knowledge in computer-related industry will be a bonus.

  • Strong understanding of financial and investment services industry.

  • A positive attitude, an ability to embrace and develop a passion for technology-driven industry.

  • Ability to cope with business objectives and willingness to learn new ideas

Marketing Executive, Intern

Responsibilities:

Market Search

  • Conduct market research students to analyse competitors, determine brand perceptions evaluate market penetration and understand customer needs;

  • Make recommendation for business opportunities based on market trends and data analysis;

Product Design

  • Work closely with Product Management and Sales Team to research on existing industry best practices as well as come up with creative UI/UX solution;

  • Assist the product design and development process

  • Research on the competitive landscape and maintain an up-to-date competitors analysis (Global + Local)

  • Do user research by conducting interviews and other hands-on work to better understand our users

  • Come up with creative and new UI/UX design solutions

  • Can design wireframes, mockups, and other creative assets

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates with Diploma/ Bachelor Degree;

  • Passionate about Digital Marketing

  • Energetic, initiative, independent and high levels of motivation;

  • A strong and positive mindset to drive for results and success;

  • With extensive knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram/ SEO/ SEM is highly preferred;

  • With Social media management skills

  • Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision is preferred

Customer Services Specialist

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries of RMA issues

  • Arrange pick up with courier for the damaged items and provide invoice to customer directly through RMA system

  • Coordinate the end-to-end RMA services until ticket closure including logistics administrative issues, goods receiving, outlook checking

  • Assign the tickets to RMA for future warranty repairing create dummy invoice & reship back to customers if necessary

  • Provide different kinds of analysis reports for management to assist on decision making

  • Assist in ad-hoc projects assigned by manager

Essential qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Diploma or above in related discipline with at least 1 years' solid experience in customer service

  • Candidate with working experience in RMA services or related field is highly preferred

  • Proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, independent, able to meet tight time line in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;

  • Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, Excel or other ERP system

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
