Business Analysis & Merchandising Manager

Job Description:

  • The Business Analysis & Merchandising Manager, who is operating under TimeVallée, will be responsible for:

Data Analytics:

  • Systematic data reliability checks & regional monitoring of data accuracy & escalate in case of inconsistencies / critical issues.

  • Preparation of regional dashboards & ad-hoc analysis.

Commercial Consistency:

  • Define regional commercial guidelines and framework, prepare and co-lead central negotiations with key partners (including negotiation scenarios and profitability analysis), and support market heads with local negotiations.

  • Follow up more closely on developments with key operators.

  • Business Planning & Monitoring:
    Supervise Business Planning activities.

  • Ensure regular and accurate business monitoring & reporting.

  • Ensure effective, accurate and timely reporting of information.

  • Analyze performance and profitability at a regional level and share benchmark information with market heads for further action plan.

  • Based on network plans and consolidated analysis of Capex requirements, strategize priorities and action plans with market heads.

  • Inventory Management:
    Propose stock value by network. Manage stock value to meet stock objectives.

  • Manage stock level to meet sales target of each network.

  • Allocate stock per network for products replenished in an Omni-channel way. Evaluate back orders by network; maximize sales turnover through effective allocation while stock rotation is maintained.

  • Analyze inventory level vs target, and actual sales vs forecast. Alert on risks or changes in trend.

  • Evaluate resources in all networks vs target stock.


PROFILE & REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Education:

  • Degree holder in Business or Engineering or related discipline

Experience:

  • Professional Experience: 7-10 years' experience in Business (Retail, Wholesale or Travel Retail) and/or Strategy and/or Business Development. Experience in luxury is a plus
